LRR Heroes of the Storm group.
First off I know theirs a DOTA/HON thread but that's from like 2006 so I feel a newer one specifically about HotS is better than just adding a post to the end of that one.
So recently I tried out Heroes of the Storm because I always liked the "MOBA" style games, but I'm not very competitive and don't like playing with people I don't know. But HotS has a bots only practice mode so I've been having fun in that.
But I would be interested in playing with people if I did know them so my question is, is their a LRR group for HotS? If not is their any other interest in creating one?

I'm gonna give it a try.
Re: LRR Heroes of the Storm group.
I'll be up for this, although I *Just* downloaded the client and started playing, so am still a total scrub.
As best as I can tell, doesn't look like there is official clan/guild support yet for an official LRR group. May just have to build up friends lists for a little while?
(Unless I am just missing something very obvious...)

It's a doubly good idea, because as long as you're playing in a party with someone on your friends list, you get a 50% bonus to XP at the end of the match.

OK so I know I started this thread but I don't actually know how to make a group in HotS. So I guess I'll just put my Blizz ID here for now

I think you add people to friends.
Make polite conversation, ask how they are etc..
Pluck up the courage if they want to play a few games with you.

Re: LRR Heroes of the Storm group.
I don't think they have that.
They have "teams" I think... but, that's not what we're after.
We're after socialising and enjoying playing each other. Not being hungry to pwn all the noobs and getting angry at each other messing up.

Re: LRR Heroes of the Storm group.
Well if we're not gonna do that, what's the point in playing a MOBA at all?

Fun to play as a team. Not fun to form a dedicated group of 5 that alienates other people.
Nothing wrong with playing as a team as long as we remember why we're playing with the people we're playing with.

Yeah, should be easy enough to add each other to our friends lists.

Well i might play sometimes too, GaspodeTD#2172 on EU, although you can switch regions i think, only your 'progression' is separate between them or at least that's how it is in Hearthstone. Still that shouldn't be a problem for having fun.

Although I only have ETC so far. He seems like a wrecking ball of CC, though, so I've been having fun.

We could always set up a chat channel ingame to communicate a little bit more (as some peoples friend lists may be a little full. I know this was what Australians and New Zealand players were doing during the closed beta (I was one of them but lurked in the background).
Maybe we could use the channel name of LLR. To join would be as simple as typing /join LLR into the chat window.
I have been enjoying playing HotS as well.
EDIT: This is an unsupported way of having a clan chat channel as anyone could join channel. It would also allow people to join clans once they are implemented (I personally believe it is more of a case of when and not if it happens) but still be able to chat directly with others involved with this group.
EDIT2: I would post my Battletag but i am already at the limit of the allowed friends for this that I play with accross multiple Blizzard games.
