Clicker Heroes Clan?

Postby TStodden » 22 Aug 2015, 00:12

As Clicker Heroes just came out with v0.20 for PC / Online & finally released a mobile version for iOS & Android... they just added Clans to the game & was just wonders...

Anybody interested in Creating / Joining an LRR clan?

I know it'll run 50 Rubies to create, so it'll be a while before I afford it (as I'm avoiding mirco-transactions), but it'll be free for anybody to join once somebody creates it (assuming they have the rubies to do so).

Just wanted to check if this is a thing to work on.

I'd join it. Have about 25 rubies right now, so I'll just keep saving. (shame, just spend 30 a few days back)

I blew my rubies on extra guilds BEFORE the update (a case of bad timing), but let's just say whoever pays the clan price first pretty much the de factor leader (assuming there's some type of clan management).

It says the guild is full, and I can't even request to join.

AdmiralMemo is my name in-game.

Clan ready? I'm going by TStodden in there... I'm about ready to ascend again (after going for 360 lvls on this run, breaking my old run of ~200).

If there is a clan size limit, then we have a traditional solution to that... I've created a clan called "SparrowSquad".

It seems that clans are limited to 10 / ea... so splits will be needed... right now, I think everybody so far have gotten into a clan.

I've just kicked 2 inactive members from the LoadingReadyRunners clan. Anyone interested? Join the clan and put your clickerheroes ID here so I know who to accept.

Also, anybody else feel 10 per clan is a little small?

Oh sweet... Thanks. I tried joining both clans from my phone app and they were both full. Not sure whether to stay in SparrowSquad for my computer version or move so both are in the same clan.

And yes, that's small.

Also, can anyone tell me the secret to getting past FrostLeaf?

If no one signs up by the end of Beej's stream, I'm moving my PC character over. (Then, there will be a spot open in SparrowSquad.)

Getting past frostleaf is a matter of doing loads of Ascensions with Amenhotep. You get DSP bonus for every hero soul you have and you keep those you already have on ascension. So every run through, you can get a bit further in the levels. It can get a little tedious, but it's most often much more productive to ascend and relevel than to wait around half a day to get another few levels out. I would hold off on spending hero souls on ancients until you get past frostleaf (around level 250 probably)

Also keep in mind that treebeast, Ivan the drunken brawler, Brittany, the Masked samurai and the Forrest seer get 4x DPS every 25 levels past level 200. So basically you level your heroes as much as you can. Once you start getting through levels only very slowly you ascend and do the same thing again. At some point you will get enough DPS to buy Dread Knight, then you still to the same thing again. And again, and again.

Once you start building up hero souls you can start investing in ancients. Salomon is a very good one to have as it'll increase the amount of hero souls you receive every time you beat a primal. Morgulis is another good one as it increases the hero soul DPS.

I've been buying up the idling ancients left and right, and I've leveled all heroes to as much as possible during each ascension, in 25-level increments. So maybe I shouldn't've been buying ancients?

How long does it usually take to get Dread Knight? I've been playing this since James introduced it to me and have yet to get even one level in him.

Getting to Dread Knight the first time takes quite a while. But I would advise to stop buying ancients and start saving hero souls for a while. Also, only those 5 heroes I mentioned (and later frostleaf and maybe Atlas, post level 500 or so) really provide any sort of decent cost to damage ratio. Especially Treebeast, Ivan and samurai to begin with.
So level all heroes until you get all their benefits (level 100 for most, then only level up those first 5 useful ones. The rest is really just throwing gold down the drain.

I've experienced that wall here, but you just need to rack up the hero souls (generally by ascending between 160 & 200) until you actually get him, which gives you a massive damage boost for a while until you get far enough to need the next person & so on. In the meantime, you'll pick up hero souls to boost your DPS.

Checking in on the clan tab daily (or every 2 days) for the raids can help pick up hero souls without ascension.

I should ascend again, but just haven't hit a massive progression wall to encourage me to do so.

Is there room in the clan currently? I'm getting back into CH and it'd be cool to be able to take advantage of new features.

I think the main clan is full, but SparrowSquad should have an opening.
