I would be, but [obviousstatement]it doesn't look like there's a lot of interest...[/obviousstatement]
But if people are interested in getting gud at Rocket League, I think these 5 videos (+possibly more in the future) are really good. They're made by veterans of the original game and some of the things they can do are just insane!
Tutorial Pt.1
Tutorial Pt.2
Tutorial Pt.3
Tutorial Pt.4
Top Ten Tips
And a ridiculous montage by someone else.
*sings that song from Team America* You know the one.
What I love about Rocket League is the hidden complexities and skill in what is on the face of it a really simple concept.

Re: Any interest in a LoadingReadyRocketLeague?
There does seem to be some interest as I've been hoping into Rocket League with HPBraincase & a few other Runners in casual play (during his broadcast)... However, it's more a case of format & scheduling.
Probably need to get efforts unified to get a better grasp.
As for getting gud, depends on the player... but we'll probably need a lot of heart cookies as we deserve them after committing multiple murders (in game... We're monsters...) based on the team play I've been in.

If I had the game, I'd be interested in playing it. But it's expensive...

I'll be getting a wireless controller adapter soon, I would be interested in joining.

It's 10% off on Steam for the next 4 hours (twas a 48 hour sale to celebrate 1 million copies sold*)! £13.49 really isn't too bad for a new game (I'm guessing 18 Dollarydoos). Either that or wait until the Halloween sale?
*Might be downloads instead, which is different because of it's free run on PSN+

Yeah, but I can't spend much money on games these days due to having no job, so no income. If I were employed, I'd totally buy it, even for full price.Jeezy wrote:It's 10% off on Steam for the next 4 hours (twas a 48 hour sale to celebrate 1 million copies sold*)! £13.49 really isn't too bad for a new game (I'm guessing 18 Dollarydoos). Now I feel fortunate to have the partiest* of part time jobs. Though even if I had no income, I would have saved up for RL. I sunk many, many hours into the alpha test last year and knew what was coming.
Even though many of us that played the alpha version loved it, we still didn't believe RL would come to have the player base it has now. It's great to see! Good luck getting monies.

Not sure how to save up money when no money is coming in at all, but if I could, I would.Jeezy wrote:Though even if I had no income, I would have saved up for RL.

You forgot to mention its name, the best name I've ever heard; Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars.
Anyway, this game sounds fun; I might pick it up next time it's on sale.

Re: Any interest in a LoadingReadyRocketLeague?
I may be misremembering because it was a couple of years ago, but I thought they lowered the price on SARPBC to like 2 bucks around the time that RL Alpha started testing. It wasn't a lot more than that anyway. I doubt it'll be on sale - did they ever have sales on digital only PS3 games? I sold my PS3 a while ago so I can't check.
I played many hours of the original game, but it's much better just playing with friends locally than online because it doesn't have dedicated servers. And personally, after playing some RL, I couldn't get on with SARPBC any more.
But you know what beats the title? The theme tune!

No, I mean I'll probably pick up RL when it's next on sale(Although I will refer to it as "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars 2: Rocket League"). I honestly didn't care too much about the original game; had fun with the demo, but mostly only remembered it because of its name.
Anyway, I think we can all agree that that theme tune is amazing.

Re: Any interest in a LoadingReadyRocketLeague?
Pardon the revival of the thread, but I just wanted to check if there's still any interest, since the game does have PS4-PC Cross-Play.
Additionally, I have 2 Steam Keys coming my way (I'm earmarking one) in November... so I can draw in a few people that way.

Re: Any interest in a LoadingReadyRocketLeague?
So... Is there any more interest in this? Or did Rocket League kind of sputter out?
I finally did get the game thanks to a generous Runner.
