Minecraft Realms Server?

Would anyone be interested in a minecraft realms vanilla server? I know that there have been some problems with servers in the past. This would limited as it is a realms server but I would be willing to get it going and keep it up for as long as there is interest.

If you would like to join, great. its 7.99 a month I am willing to put in the first 6 months which is $50 keeping it going after that would be on donations, no obligation to donate though.

Let me know if there is interest.

I'd be interested to join in on that.

I miss playing Minecraft and it sucks by yourself. I miss the community. I'd be down. I'd also be willing to cough up $10 a month into the forseeable future.

I'd be interested if I actually could play minecraft. My stupid laptop is still refusing to run it and my desktop is still packed away for the foreseeable future.

I would be interested and could definitely chip in a couple of bucks.

I had a couple private questions so I want to be clear, im not saying "you must pay X" to play, Im not saying "I expect you to donate to cover at least one month" or at all.

If there is enough interest I will start the server and get it going I just dont want it to be like 3 years of me paying for a server with 50 regular players and everyone says "thanks"

My response at least was just an offer. That if you chose to start the server and it took off I'd be willing to chip in.

Is it possible to set up realms to deduct from a paypal account or similar thing and just update the motd with current balance.

I'm assuming there would be no way to import the old map?

Also it seems like there is a limit of 10 users at a time with realms? Would that be an issue? I don't know how popular the old server ever was, but I don't think I ever saw more than a handful of people on at once, except when James was streaming there.

It's been my experience that there's rarely over 10 people on at once. Usually I'm by myself or there's 1-2 other people. Only times there have been more are for server events.

It seems silly they don't offer more concurrent players for more $$ though or we could raise the cap to 20 and never have an issue.

You can also upload maps to Realms so I'm wondering if we could import the old map.

Back on both LRRCraft and LRRMC, I've seen more than 10, especially if James is on. First few months of LRRMC there was pretty sure an average of at least 10, probably more.

If you mean the LRRMC Map, LRRMC used Spigot with plugins, so you'd be missing a bunch of stuff if you imported that into realms. If you mean the LRRCraft Map, then Memo is I believe still working on fixing that map up.

Yes, next week, I'll make a concerted effort to do it instead of watching the streams as much. It's like SO CLOSE and then I lost track of time and motivation to do it. I just need one big push to get it done.

I would be interested in a vanilla start on 1.9 without importing any existing map (choosing a good seed so we can build a nice common area might be a thing though). Furthermore I would greatly appreciate it if the world is survival only without (large) creative builds - It feels a lot more "honest" to me. This doesn't mean that I think creative building is bad, I would just like to see it in a separate world.

I like large builds but only those built in survival

Hello fellow LRRcrafters,
Due to the prolonged shutdown of LRRmc and LRRcraft I have started a new vanilla server as an alternative to the "Feed the Beast" modded server. The server name is "LoadingReadyCraft" and is hosted via MC REALMS and requires nothing on your end except a registered copy of Vanilla Minecraft 1.9. In order to receive an invite, message me or leave a comment with your username. Happy Crafting!

Sorry, I didn't see this thread when I made the server, but it's completely free for everyone. Don't worry about it friends =)

"This instant invite is invalid or has expired."

What do?

Also, is there a way I can redirect a LRRcraft subdomain to this server?
