Due to the prolonged shutdown of LRRmc and LRRcraft I have started a new vanilla server as an alternative to the "Feed the Beast" modded server. The server name is "LoadingReadyCraft" and is hosted via MC REALMS and requires nothing on your end except a registered copy of Vanilla Minecraft 1.9. Has someone claimed doing the roads? I would like a road/path out to my place (500, 1380)

Can wood planks or wood be lit on fire by environmental events? I have built a wall from snow, I have built a wall from stone, I am considering a wall of wood, is that possible or would it burn down?

Google tells me that lightning can set it on fire but the rain usually puts it out again.
