Re: Mafia Queue
I have my idea for a Star Trek mafia game. I want to play a few games before I decide to run one, though. Is the list on page 1 still valid as the list?

Re: Mafia Queue
Question: Should all these "Mafia" threads be moved to "Tabletop and D&D"? They seem more in flavor with that sub-forum than "Video Games" to me.

Re: Mafia Queue
I think it should be in a forum games section.

Re: Mafia Queue
Yeah, that's truly better, but such a section does not yet exist, so I was going with existing sections. If a new section can be made, then go for it!

Re: Mafia Queue
It was already suggested to make a new subsection for "Forum Games", but Paul decided against it in the end.

Re: Mafia Queue
I think they would be more on flavour in the Tabletop section, but when the forums were split up, the mafia games were left in the Video Games section and I think that kind of set the precedent.

Re: Mafia Queue
Well we are using electronics and according to my mom all electronics are video. As in now more video for you. (because technology or electronics are too broad (as she learned when I gave her all my tech when she asked for it)).

Man. I thought of how I'd run that. I so wish I'd thought of that idea first. Hugely envious, Kapol.

Re: Mafia Queue
You're welcome to it Jack. I've not worked much on the idea. It's mostly something that popped into my head. Plus, I'm not all that far into the series, which I'd rather have more experience with before running something like that.

I'd also stick up my hand for that; so many opportunities...

Got my ideas down in a text file, so things should work well for when I head mine up.

Oh, is it over? I'm traveling this weekend so I might not be able to get anything up until next week.
I think my game might be too boring compared to some recent ones though.

I honestly think we need a more vanilla game of Mafia after mine and Jack's.

Re: Mafia Queue
Yeah, we really need a palate cleanser. I think my next game will be astonishingly vanilla, actually, though (of course) with a bit of a structural twist.

I agree, a "boring" game might be just what we need.

Re: Mafia Queue
My idea is pretty ready, but 1. I don't want to jump in line and 2. I want to actually play at least one game before I run one (mainly to make sure I've understood how everything goes correctly).
