Re: Forum Game: Your Debut Album
I'm looking forward to the day that it turns out that a successful mainstream band had used this method to determine their band name, debut album title, and cover art.

Re: Forum Game: Your Debut Album
I'm pretty sure some bands actually do this, especially for album cover and title.

I think we might need a new photo source, 5 times in a row, the photographer disable downloading.

View the biggest image of it they offer, PrtScr, then crop it out in paint.
Or if you prefer, I usually just go to some other pic on that page (my faves are ones I 'took such liberties' with to get just the right setup)

Best band name ever.
11th Space Warning Squadron
Disqualified from ever doing so
I know it's five words, but I like way better this way.

So yeah, the name. Utterly stupid or best band name ever?
(Either way, best forum game ever. Of all time.)

"In his first release, Božidar Vuković brings passion and love all the way from his native Montenegro and into your heart. His instrumental works transcend language barriers and the limits of the spoken word and fill your soul with ardor and rapture. Whether you're alone and pining for romance, or with that special someone, 'Afford To Let Alone' is the perfect playlist to accompany a night of enchantment."

Re: Forum Game: Your Debut Album
Like others, I've played this game before. I always end up with great images, great album titles, and lousy, lousy band names.
Edit:
Also, this one was not mine, but was too damn good not to share.

Re: Forum Game: Your Debut Album
"With their first album, the jazz ensemble Promise Lands draws on their aboriginal background to bring a unique air and theme to their music. Their first single, 'The most valuable thing' evokes a deep and mournful message about a life wasted; of opportunities denied or ignored. No one should miss this release."
(I find the fluff text is the hardest part to come up with, and it probably shows)

Re: Forum Game: Your Debut Album
Formed in 1993 by Sir Halert of Scotland, Flash Suppression is among the most prominent of the Dark Indie Trip-Hop bands to rise from the region in that time. With such notable hits as 'No, Not Here' and 'Running Down The Train Tracks (To My Sister's Funeral)', the band has actually only ever produced one 53 song album If You're Willing to Work, released and recorded in June of 1994,. Tracks 4-16 of said album are one multi-part track by the name of 'I Know The Way To Life (And Death as Well)' which consists almost entirely of Sir Halert watching reruns of M*A*S*H while commenting on how "fucked up" his life was. The band was short lived, as in July of 1994 Sir Halert was found lying dead face down in a bathtub of marmalade, apparently killed by self induced blunt force trauma with a fake plastic swordfish, however fans speculate that it may have been a murder by drummer Peter Guncich, who formed his own Dark Indie Trip-Hop band, the Plastic Swordfish, shortly thereafter, but such roomers have no basis in fact.

Re: Forum Game: Your Debut Album
If the title of the album looks weird it's cuz I tried to cover up words that were in the picture (it gave the name of the building— that made it look really cluttered).
