I believe Empath was referring to the type of animation. It used actual actors (or at least people) instead of drawn images.
Also, I have no clue what that is but it looks old. Like, pre-millenial shift old.

Hint: it's not part of a series per se, but there were other drastically different games that shared the same exact name.

I've not played that, it looks very Zelda-esque though, save for the hero's apparel.
So my guess is "Weird Zelda Clone: Gameboy Classic Edition"
