So I'm going to risk potentially Red Ringing my 360 again.

Previously my 360 had red ringed after I had played Eternal Sonata for a week. After I got it back I never played ES again, partly because I blame it for the red ringing, and partly because I got bored. It's been a few months so I figure I'd give ES another go since I've got nothing else to play at the moment.

Expect to see a topic next Saturday about my 360 red ringing.

I think he's saying that the throwaway gag in that one cHustle episode about Eternal Sonata causing a 360 to "lose motivation" is apparently an actual defect.

It does seem a very boring game

At least its not ET. That game would cause an xbox to explode if it could be played on it.

It's not that it's boring exactly. It's just that cutscenes tend to be long and slow. The characters have plenty to say but are in absolutely no hurry to say it. Like just recently a character who was fatally wounded managed to do a 7ish minute monologue. Complete with flashbacks to things that were said no more than a minute ago. The whole thing is made funny by the fact that she staggers around the room holding onto her stomach like she's trying to keep her intestines in when there's no blood or visible wound.

I remember laughing really, really hard at the monologue that Claves has after she's been run through by a sword. My roommate and I just couldn't stop laughing at the insane length of the cutscene of her dying, and then getting up and moving across the room, always just ALMOST seeming to die for good, but honestly, if the stupid bitch had just, say, walked out the door, she might have been able to, I don't know, WALK to a safe place? Or at least the river to wash her wounds, directly outside!?

Hell, if she had kept the monologue going long enough Jazz would have gotten back.

Sadly, with a bit of modding it can be played on it.

Trust me, theres much worse games than ET.
