If you look at the 1st post in this thread, the following was given.

Description of main character,
Main weapon / tool / thing,
Upgrading system used in the game,
And the lvl select system used.

So atleast tell us the type of game, sport, platform, strategy, action etc... to narrow things down or else we can guess for ages.

Ok, this game has none of those, its a sports game that appears on all platforms. I didn't think it would be hard at all. But then again, I'm not sure if this game is that big in places other than America.

I'm sure someone can put this all together.

I realize the vagueness of my description made it hard, but I really couldn't think of anything else to say that wouldn't give it away immediately.

There was the original and two major sequels.
