Heroes of might and magic 5

Apparently it's on sale on steam. 5 bucks for the game, and another 5 bucks for each expansion, or you can get the game and both the expansions for 12 bucks.

I loved heroes of might and magic 3. Never played 4, but seeing as how cheap it is, I'm considering picking up the package deal.

What're people's thoughts on 5 compared to the other HMM games? Is HMM5 + both expansions worth 13 bucks US?

Well I've only played 5 and both expansions and I'm loving it. The story is great. I'd comment more on how the battle system is and the creature upgrades but for all I know, it was exactly the same as previous games.

As for price, for how cheap that is, it's definitely worth to get the full package.

Heroes of might and magic 5 + 2 expansions, + Dark Messiah for €19,98, which is $28,16 US. Not having played any of those games I can't judge on them.

How do they relate to the original RPG's Might and Magic 1 to 10 ?

I played might and magic 5 for the SNES back in the day. Thats what attracted me to Heroes of might and magic 3.

Its very different. The only real similarities are that you have heroes, some of them are mighty, and some can use magic. Some can do both.

The heroes of might and magic series is awesome if you like turn based strategy get these., and yes the combat was exactly the same.
