James with a mustache and a gun in his butt.
That is all.

Re: Garagellenium
I like to imagine that Gun Butt, P.I. just missed the cut for the David Vanderpunch marathon.
Also, the Spot continuity is blowing my mind.

Damn, I guess I wasn't the only one who had Bros Blasting Bros on their mind.
I'd love to hear about the genesis of this video. If, as I can't help but imagine, the lion's share of the video was inspired, however directly, by last year's Garagellenium, then this video's been a long time coming.
The fact that the crew are now in possession of a Boney M album fills me with a certain dread. The kind generally reserved for eldritch horrors.

Re: Garagellenium
Hmm... there were definitely laughs, and even laughs derived from recent jokes and suggestions, but I wasn't really feeling this one. I can't really describe why, it felt like it was dragging from the very first frame and didn't stop. Not punchy enough? I dunno. I'll rewatch and give a better analysis later so I don't just sound like a giant whiner.
Also, the image seems... off. The stuff that's in focus doesn't seem nearly as sharp as it should be with your camera. What sort of glass are you using? Are you still rocking the kit lens for that model?

Re: Garagellenium
This is my favourite Hustle of season 2. More so than Bros Clubbing Bros.
I like the Matt/James dynamic in cH-verse. And, what the hell was that thing Kathleen picked up? It looked like a huge chess pawn.
Also, have both Matt and James lost weight?

Re: Garagellenium
Kathleen had picked up Spot the Dog, Drinnik.
Liked the episode, along with the Bros Blasting Bros thing. I also liked the stinger, mainly because Graham, Paul, and Jer thought people would ACTUALLY mail them complaints about the messed-up order of a fart joke in M:tG. That was the highlight of the video.

I actually noticed that, and thought it was out of place for them to make such a mistake. If it had really happened, only my crippling laziness would have kept me from writing to them about it. >_>RLYoshi wrote:I also liked the stinger, mainly because Graham, Paul, and Jer thought people would ACTUALLY mail them complaints about the messed-up order of a fart joke in M:tG.

Re: Garagellenium
I dared James via twitter to change his profile pic to Gun Butt, P.I. I have yet to hear if his honor allows him to do so, yet.
Anyway, did the crew happen to get anything good at the...um..."Big Garage Sale Thing"? Other than a cH?
Also, The Phantom Nutshot shall be my new DJ name.
EDIT:
James_LRR James Turner
@MinionStarwind I will absolutely get on that when I can grab a high res version from @Graham_LRR

Re: Garagellenium
You know, it's actually awe-inspiring to see exactly how useless the crew is in the cH universe. It seems like if these versions of them were any more incompetent they would all die off because they forgot to breathe.
Oh, and Kathleen, I'm stealing your "upselling" idea.

Re: Garagellenium
I hate saying this, but I feel it really needs to be said. This episode was not just bad, it was boring.
I can go into a lot more details and specifics, but I don't want to cause a huge debate, or come across as ranting, so I'm leaving it as this, unless someone wants to PM me.

Re: Garagellenium
The pre-opening credits Graham & Paul was really good, especially when they're sat at the desk basically riffing on recent videos.
I generally liked the episode, but I felt perhaps the middle needed more padding at the actual garage sale, maybe with an additional scene of Paul and Graham coming up with terrible ideas based on the stuff on a certain stall.
Spot was nicely done =D

Re: Garagellenium
No worries, Dolphin. I'll admit the script maybe didn't spend as long in concept as it needed, and while there's a bunch of bits I love, as a whole it didn't turn out quite as high-energy as I'd hoped.

Re: Garagellenium
For me, it wasn't great for a cHustle, but still a solid 'average' amongst your videos overall.

That's the message I'm getting trying to load this video. Not sure if it's just me or if it's a problem at their end.
EDIT: Seems to be working now.
FURTHER EDIT: I never knew fart jokes could be so funny. I absolutely loved this one! The middle kinda went off but the strong finish really made up for it.

I like, though, how the cH Graham and Paul have matured and grown out of ball-kicks and into the subtle oeuvre of fart jokes.

Re: Garagellenium
Apart from the thematic similarities to Cash Cats (a minor nitpick, honestly), I'm really digging this video and the new cH style; the dialogue's snappy and the production (for me at least) feels pretty good.
An apt punishment, if perhaps a little harsh.
