Unrelated to the post itself, how the hell has the name 'Dave' not been claimed before now?

Re: Continuing Story
I believe the last time they were asked, the answer was essentially no, they do not currently have plans to go back an on-going story structure like season 1 again.

Re: Continuing Story
If I recall, the original reason for avoiding an ongoing storyline in cHUSTLE was the sheer volume of effort required to string everything together with consistent characters and locations made it stressful and tiring, so the LRRds opted for more incidental episodes after the first season. That isn't to say it could never happen again, but I think they'd need to carefully weight the pros and cons and such of it beforehand.

Re: Continuing Story
Personally i'm happy with the cH's were getting at present. Yes series 1 was good but I don't feel that cH is any weaker in the new format
EDIT: although I may be on a 'story of beej' high at the moment

Re: Continuing Story
I just recently went back and rewatched every CH episode to date, and it's kind of incredible how consistent the tone has remained since that very first episode. They're shorter now, but other than the ongoing villain through-line, I don't really feel like the last few years of CH are missing much (other than length).
What really struck me, going back through the whole archive, is just how desperately I want more of it. I don't read escapist or youtube comments, so I don't know how the casual fan enjoys hustle, but these are the videos I always watch at least 5 times the week they come out because they're always so strong. I crave more!!!!!
