I'm sorry about that, but I assure you that overall we're pretty cool folks.

Nah, it has nothing to do with you. The forums are funny. It's my own personal flaw that I have to argue with people until they tell me I'm right. I'm also one of those annoying people who play trivia games and lord their useless knowledge over you. But, at least I know this and I'm working on it.

OH YEAH I FORGOT. Oh, that's also metahumor. Totally unintentional.
I love the whole subversion of the MIB neuralyzer. I mean, it's pretty silly to imagine that he was able to actually build one (out of household materials, too, if his 'repairs' are any indication), but it wouldn't have been funny if not for the added joke that it only *sort of* works.
I don't know why. The idea of a super-advanced tool that makes your memory a little bit foggy is just really funny to me.

It just struck me how much Brad reminds me of Nightshade (lookwise) in this video.
I really liked the poop jokes... I mean, not in that I thought they were hilarious, but that I've been witness to those conversations, and have been a part of them. It didn't seem like the poop "jokes" were even meant to be jokes so much as just factual, casual conversation.
But, is it wrong of me that whenever they mentioned a different letter shaped poo I tried to imagine just what it looked like and how, physically, they could come out? Did I just admit too much about myself?

personally, I think people are making way too big a deal about the poop talk.

I mean, the joke is not the poop, the joke is in how the conversations themselves play out. we actually intorduce the topic, and leave the scene jst as the conversation gets going, revisit it briefly, and the next time we see it, it gets closed off. in each situation the joke is either only tangentally related to the poop itself, or is in some other element of the conversation - for instance, that the girls get as much entertainment out of such discussions as we do, even if they pretend they don't.

That's the pincer attack!!

Seriously guys, don't get bent out of shape if people seem too focused on certain things or responding back and forth to one another. The fact is there are SO MANY great moments to this video that it's far more challenging than usual to be comprehensive. We're all so used to LRR sketches featuring one major joke that is either funny or not funny or almost funny or kinda funny or funny except for this or that and we can debate it for twelve pages.

StatMax said it best. This feels like something you were meant to do. Graham, you know what I mean saying this, about what the average person will remember. Stitch all your sketches together and you'd have the long, brilliant run of Flying Circus. Commodore Hustle is to LRR as Holy Grail.

Obviously I say this without the perspective of decades, but at first blush, that's what this video makes me believe.

I'm not "getting bent out of shape", I just thought the thread was starting to get bogged down with "OMG, MAN KISSES!" posts.

And if people want to respond to one another that's also fine, but I additionally don't want the thread to become a debate about personal beliefs, there are other threads for that.

Ultimately, I'm just glad people thought the episode was as funny as we do.

Parents are always to blame for something. My dad is probably responsible for at least 5 years of my personal trauma and torture.

I call that choosing the secondary school he was bullied at and thinking his socially-unusual son would be fine there.

I'm sure there's a great random conversation going on but I'm going to break that flow by stating:

I liked the vid (finally found the time to watch it). Nice break from the non-traditional LRR theme that has brought about much controversy lately and return of humor we are familiar with. Also glad to see a return to the LRR sabotage theme. Although I appreciated the viral video experiment, it left no room for humorous plots. Perhaps it is because I am not a huge fan of ball-kicking jokes...but then I'm not a poop joke fan either :T

What I did like about the video was:
-"Sin City"/"Spirit" style spoofing (red hats are sexy! :3)
-Non-working MIB inventions :D (Which is not needed if you have bad memory like I do)
-The possibility of Morgan coming to Cali (if he does, he must visit me!!!)
-Matt/James paybacks (although I perfered the t-shirt ad XD)
-The LRR cast is made up of some handsome devils and I'm shocked to see that we didn't see more than the four girlfriends!

I'm sure there was a lot of other cool things, but I can't remember...

I suspect that Morgan's answer to this will be along the lines of "How female are you on a scale from 0 to 1?"

Wait... A scale of 0 to 2? So... If 0 is male, and 1 is female, then what's 2? Artificially female?

0 is no boob, 1 is uniboob, 2 is a pair of boobs. However, the scale can also be expanded up to 3 to accommodate Eccentrica Gallumbits, the Triple-Breasted Whore of Eroticon Six.

Well she's an outlier.

That's nearly a pun. Nearly.
