So how come Bill - or, as he's known around these parts: "Bill the Wonderwall" didn't get his own verse in the rap?

It's possible.

It's just a lot harder, because I'm usually not there for all three or four days of shooting. I'll be there for one or two days, but rarely for everything.

Fun thought on second watch-through; Graham could have done a 30 Rock shout-out by saying "I want to go... there" at the end of the Ode to Joy sequence.

Edit; Or a "Shut it down" at the end of the LARPing.

I like the reference to the 'Son of a bitch' video when Graham said he uses Matt's toothpaste.

My favourite line of all was "Well you are wearing a FUCKton of pink."

I've always heard of the measurement as a "metric fuckton." Is that because I'm from the U.S. and in Canada all fucktons are just assumed to be metric? What's the conversion rate between an imperial fuckton and a metric fuckton?

I'm not sure of the conversion rate, but I do know the imperial fuckton is equal to 136 fuckbushels, if that helps.

wouldn't it being a metric measurement make it a Fucktonne?

Metric is always the way I've heard it too, not sure why but it's probably to do with Imperial vs Metric measurements.

I have to say, what would the cHustle look like if you were to watch it back-to-back-to-back-to-back with no interstitials in-between? Do you really need the "lag time" between vids to process it all and to indicate time's passage?

Hmm. That's actually a good question. I mean, they do clearly each take place after a one-month gap, but if you watch them one after the other you lose that sense and it could seem jarring.

Then again, it never really occurred to be before, but... Adam was camping out for three months? Damn.

http://www.metric-conversions.org/weigh ... o-tons.htm

An imperial ton is 2,000 pounds. A metric is 1,000 kg, or 2,204.6 pounds.

We've never really established how much time lapses between episodes, and we left it that way intentionally.

Some time has passed.

Could be a couple days, a week or two, even a full month. But yes, Adam was there for three months.

I live in Canada and I've heard it both ways. I think most people in Canada still default to the imperial system on the word "ton" (unless it's spelt "tonne" of course). We haven't totally converted to metric. "Metric fuckton" does sound funny though.

i often watch all the precious cH's before a new cH comes out, and it works just fine. you do have to assume an amount of time has passed, but it doesn't really matter too much tbh because the show doesn't happen on any specific timeline

I usually hear "metric" used to add emphasis to a statement (eg. "Metrick fuckton of beef"), and occasionally to clear up ambiguity in a statement (where the difference between imperial and metric is meaningful, but isn't made clear by the situation, or to add a factual connotation to insure the statement is taken literally instead of figuratively (a ton of used panties vs. a metric tonne of used panties)).

Being in America, and not hearing the word metric a lot, adding metric to stuff just helps make it sound funnier. Not entirely sure why, but there you go.

Since a Metric Ton has greater weight than an Imperial Ton, a Metric Fuckton would likely be greater then simple Fuckton. Adding "metric" beforehand increases the emphasis (much like Master Gunner's observation).

Therefore, I would wager that had Matt been wearing pink pants, in addition to his already considerably pink wardrobe, Kate would likely have declared that he was, "Wearing a Metric Fuckton of pink!" But, since his pants were not pink, a simple "fuckton" sufficed.

also 'metric fuckton', in this instance, does not work as well. the emphasis is on 'fuckton' in the sentence. to add 'metric' before the emphasis wouldn't work, neither would putting the emphasis of 'metric' try saying it out loud to yourself and you can see pretty easily that 'you are wearing a fuckton of pink' works better that 'you are wearing a metric fuckton of pink'.

I will agree that the lack of metric does roll off the tongue better. However, the joke would still work if "metric" was more subdued and "fuckton" still received as much emphasis as Kate gave it. I'm not saying that "metric" would have been better, not at all, just saying that it would've still worked.

Best cHustle yet! The scene with the LARPers in the end was hilarious! Also, Kate really needs to be in more videos, mainly because she is such a badass.

Awesome episode; please never wear sunglasses on camera. Your eyes can carry an entire performance. Lose them and you might as well be shooting a radio show.
