The rap video was awesome, especially Matt's part.

Wow, awesome rap at the beginning there!
When will curiosity kill this kitty? :3c
Re: commodoreHUSTLE 09 - Growl
i find it hilarious that they pick matt to be the girl, with the reason being he's wearing 'a fuck ton of pink', and he's actually wearing the least pink out of them all...
i'm totally a shark.
THANK you for killing the that's what she said joke. i will now inform my friends every time they try and use it.
as always, wonderful banter! Matt's line to Jer 'how goes that sonnet you're writing about the bacon cheeseburger you're serving' had me laughing SO hard.
these just keep getting better and better! keep it up!

Re: commodoreHUSTLE 09 - Growl
I had the opposite reaction. I usually love cHUSTLEs, but I didn't like this one as much. I quite enjoyed some bits, and the ode to joy bit was even more epic than in Peggle (which is quite an accomplishment), but it just sort of meandered away and lost focus.
Well, plot wise, it stayed on track, but it felt too much like a sit-com to me - almost all problems brought up were immediately resolved by the end of the video. I really like how we're getting back to the Runners, though, now that the whole viral thing is done distracting us.
Also, a big problem I had with the episode was Paul's character seemed to change. Maybe it's just me, but he seemed to be written a bit more pedantic than previously.
And there just didn't seem to be as many jokes over the course of the episode as there usually are. Also, Geoff's new facial hair kept distracting me, but now I'm just nitpicking.
But this may all be because I've been waiting for it all day, so I might have unreasonably high expectations. I'll watch it again tomorrow, and see what I think.

Good episode, I miss Kate being in videos, it's good to see her again. she's quite funny. Также, Ode to Joy just made me want more Peggle.

When Graham said "Just the tip?" While being tackled I could NOT stop laughing.
This signature is mediocre.

LOL, Ahh that's great cause I tell people I'm a feminist liberal democrat w/ Marxist leanings and I'm always talking about the theory. That's really great. (But seriously, Marx may not have been right about the ultimate outcome of society, but he got a lot of things right about our current society - also, read some Weber, he expands on it a bit)

Yes, really. Though it's not always shark vs. panda bear. Also, why would a water-based creature be using a lightning-based attack? Or have I just played too much Pokemon?

Probably the most clever episode.
The guy who made that bear suit also made an armored suit for the military.
The ending kinda scared me...

I knew the "You look stupid" line was coming from Graham, but something about his joyous gloating just sold it for me.
Still a huge fan of the Hustle!

Really that joke was just a response to people who immediately follow up any mention of Communism with "But it works! In theory..."Laurnil wrote:(But seriously, Marx may not have been right about the ultimate outcome of society, but he got a lot of things right about our current society - also, read some Weber, he expands on it a bit)

1) The past few episodes of cH have been pretty damn good, this one included.
2) James, you looked damn awesome in sunglasses. Also, nice Sam and Fuzzy shirt.
3) Am I the only one who found it weird that Matt said that blue brought out his eyes when he's wearing a red shirt?
Yes. People do actually dress up like that and growl and stuff. LARP stands for Live Action Role Play, basically like D&D only everybody dresses like their character and actually acts out what's going on. As stated in the video, they're generally scorned in the RPG community, which just like any community has its own hierarchy. Most of them don't dress like animals, though. That's more a subset of the furry fandom, which is an entire other can of worms.

Re: commodoreHUSTLE 09 - Growl
Really funny guys but it seems to have gone off the rails a bit. I really like it but for some reason despite its length and the plot points it did not seem like a cHustle to be. Maybe it's because a lot has changed. Paul character is funnier than ever but changed too much too fast. It seems to have taken some pretty strong painkillers between episode 8 and 9. Again he's funnier than ever but it's a big shift.
On the upside it was nice to see Kate have a major role and the LARPing was hilarious. All in all keep up what your doing. If you want to stick with this 'new' feel to it than stick to it and I'll love it. Also amazing job on the Loadingreadyrunners site. I would recycle the beats but my Jewish genes stop be from rapping ANYTHING without sounding horrible.

I'm of the opinion that the episode abso-muthafuckin-lutley peaks with the appearance of the "bear". His little speech is some truely perfect comic writing.
It's also nice to know that bears can rap too.
Now, to the mission!

I feel your pain, Kate. I'm a little sister and I'm always refered to as "Bob's Sister". At least your brother isn't named Bob.
Re: commodoreHUSTLE 09 - Growl
Well Kate I know your name and think you're awesome so hopefully that's something. You should star in a Phailhaus.
