Geoff's delivery of "I am not fucking around here kiddies" was fantastic. Loved it.

There is nothing in the world that could make me laugh harder when you see Paul's face of pure glee after Ride of the Valkyries starts playing and Mr. Ballsmatron rolls onto the screen.

Easily one of my favorite scenes of the season. Great works guys, and I'm looking very forward to season 2.

Epic Finale. I thought it was great. I did wonder how the crew knew that tim was a mini-boss but apart from that I loved it. throughout the season it seemed there was an deep underlying profound message throuhout that was rounded up at the end... ball kicks are funny.

I also look forward to next season!

was the lrr reward poster a setup for next seasons story? i wonder

Um... hot?

As far as whether season 1 was successful or not (re: the minor "what LRR should do for season 2 to improve it" discussion) - since I have no idea what it was LRR intended to set out to do, I don't know if they accomplished it...

Alls I know is there were a lot of laughs had by me, and that ain't not bad... or ain't not not bad... I mean to say it's good... and that I look forward to season 2.

Here's the thing. If I were comparing it to Spaced, I would agree with all of your points. However, for an amateur show with a miniscule budget and fairly small amounts of time to shoot in, its great. Compared to the rest of the LRR content it certainly holds its own as the flagship. LRR is an odd thing in that it started out as Graham and Paul messing around with their friends and a camera and has grown into a serious attempt to make it a full time job. Considering noone involved has ever worked on a sitcom, it was never going to be Faulty Towers. For a first time effort, its just a lot closer to Branston Pickle than most web shows.

Mr. Ballsmotron should not be mourned, but celebrated, for he died as he lived: delivering the most epic of testicular tragedies, and his sacrifice was not in vain.

That was perfect in tying up all of the loose sub-plots for the season (unless I'm forgetting one somewhere). I was wondering what happened to Adam.

I think that cliffhanger with Morgan on the internet is almost as potent as the season 4 finale of Lost. Which is saying something.
There is sarcasm in my post. If you are smart, you should be able to find it.

BIIIIIIIIIIIG NO-NO. If you are going to post something and you don't want people to read it, do NOT make it any smaller than the Small font size. It's kind of a dick move.

I don't know if you know this but shouldn't "B" come before "Bell" in credits

My reactions described in emoticons all with the most positive connotations:  :o :| :) :D

Also alphabetical was definitely the way to go with the credits there.

A coincidence you didn't use anyone with a last name starting with X.

I highly anticipate season 2.

Brilliantly funny video, you guys really shine at this stuff. I do have one complaint with the ending, in that it seemed cut off, slightly. I think Matt's scream could have echoed a bit. But it's a small complaint, just because I'm feeling nitpicky.

So anyway, because of this season, should we expect t-shirt design #6 to be Mr. Ballzmatron mid-kick? Or will there be a lot of lobbying from the Runners sattelite branches?

I grant you that lighting is our biggest enemy, but overall, I'm very proud with a lot of the camera-work in this series. We experimented with some new stuff, and I think getting a more rigid shooting style for Season 2 will only make it better, but I disagree with you on that, sorry.

I should specify, the angles and what not were great. Its just some of the times when you zoomed in the picture shook a little bit, for example the shot of Geoff in the opening. And some of the in motion wasn't great. The transitions remark I standby. When you switched from Adam back to bearsharks, it looked a little sloppy.

On a further note, a lot of my criticism was based on the lighting. It does seem to be the major problem.

Graham wrote:#2
Granted, we are trying to bring in new people, but even we know that cH is a little too dependent on prior LRR knowledge to really do that. However, we're not expecting it to get picked up by a TV network, so in that regard, I don't think we've failed at all.

We ARE planning on working on that for Season 2 though. Which isn't to say there won't be in-jokes, just that we hope to make the series more accessible.

I don't think jokes to previous videos are bad. Just so long as they are few and to more popular ones. I just remembered you saying you want to bring in a larger audience with this series, so I was looking at it from that.

Graham wrote:#3
Acting is acting, and we're not all actors. Still that isn't an excuse, so we get around that by having everyone play to their strengths. That'll be something else we refine for Season 2, but, again, I disagree that it was as bad as you say.

Regardless, don't think I'm ignoring you. Your voice is being heard, and I intend to listen to what you're saying. And, thanks!

I'm not saying it was terrible. Just not as good in comparison to your own vids. Had I not seen your other work first it wouldn't seem as bad. Not your greatest work. I don't what it is but the whole thing seems less believable than it should be. I think its in some sort of comedic limbo where you aren't quite one style, but you're not another. With a bit more tweaking and adjusting and getting more experience you could make it your own. Just hasn't got there yet. Two more side bars. Geoff could have been more maniacal. The way he acted didn't quite fit his plan and ambitions. And Kate really stood out in this series. I think she did the best out of everybody.

I'm glad you took my criticism so well. Much love to all of you.

This is more of a general thing, but perhaps its time to grease the tripod up some? I've being able to hear a slight squeaking sound when you turn it, especially in the last for months. Really that's my only criticism with your videos, other than a few very specific things that I disagree with.

Watching it again made me realize something... I wish my Gamerscore was deleted. Aside from some games I won't bother playing anymore, Watchmen: The End is Nigh made my score uneven, which bugs me a bit =/

But as to the half you are not right about, I was just in Vegas the shooting weekend.

Wait, what? There was a live stream and nobody bothered to tell me?

<Sulks>

EDIT: Okay, so I realise that people have been discussing it on the forums. But I was unlikely to notice because I'd got into the habit of ignoring the "Hustle marathon" threads, since I couldn't physically be there. Need more advertising.

Also pylons.
