Odin Sphere (starts 1:41 ~ ends 6:02)
This would be a nice change of pace considering it's art style.

Oh and you can just call me Dave.
No need for the whole screen name.

Drakengard falls pretty high on the 'unusually high-budget cutscene for a horrifically awful game' scale.

I'd also suggest Metal Wolf Chaos, but the opening pretty much parodies itself already.

Final Fantasy XIII isn't the best candidate (surprisingly, the first cutscene is only ~ 4:30, but if you combine it with the following scenes (the opening is divided by the first 2 battles against the mech) it could make a good Unskippable. Alternatively, you could combine the battle with the cutscene in the episode, as you did once before.
Just call me Dylan. It's easier to pronounce.

Very bad quality, but it'd be interesting to see what you guys could do with this opening scene from Primal.

Well.. it's either Primal, or The Beatles Rock Band was way more inaccurate than anyone thought

No More Heroes' cutscene are all entertaining. Usually short, though.

Okami, definitely. The opening cutscene is agonizing when you just want to get to the game. Yeah, there's a lot of text but it worked well for Final Fantasy "X"III & Graham & Paul talk over dialog/voiceovers anyway.

NOOOOOO!!!!! Okami is my favoritest game evar!!! Yes, the opening is long, but it's just the way the dialogue is presented. And it won't make sense if you don't watch all 45 minutes of it!!!! :(

/end fangirl

Yeah, I'm so glad I only had to watch that once.

I agree that Okami is a great game, but long cutscene is long.

I guess it's already been said but seeing as Jak II has been done I think Jak And Daxter would be a pretty good opening scene to do, though it maaaaaay be kinda long.

Deus Ex: Invisible War.

Hunter: The Reckoning: Redeemer: Revenge of the Colon

Both ripe for riducule, I'd say.

EDIT: Wow, after rewatching the Hunter intro, I can't believe how perfect it is for Unskippable. Bad voice acting, impractically skimpy outfits, stupidly camp monsters, and full of fridge logic.

May I venture a Legend of Zelda title? Perhaps Twilight Princess or maybe Wind Waker.

Ha! Or perhaps a Blizzard game.

I don't know whether or not this has been suggested, but I think AquaNox 2 would make a pretty good candidate for Unskippble.

I suggest using the intro to Dead Space. True it's a mature game but I think that stopped being a problem after Dante's Inferno. There is a world of opportunity for jokes when there's a spaceship crashing and the protagonist is just sitting there completely unconcerned.

Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces (Nintendo Wii)

Even the opening cutscene is a brilliant Unskippable. Not to mention the plane taking off with no propellers spinning and the cockpit door wide open.. o.O

How about Fallout 3 or the original Half Life opening (not strictly a cut scene I know)?

It's kind of surprising you haven't done Resident Evil 1 (original).
Dead or Alive Extreme 2 has a real crappy and bizarre cutscene. FEAR. Stranglehold.

Arkham Asylum would be interesting.

Dark Star One. Absolutely terrible dialogue, character movements and writing that makes me (as a now freelance game story writer and consultant) want to puke.
