Why are they just openly discussing the politics of the cartel when the witness is right in front of them? Seems to be like it would be safer if she didn't hear all the stuff that the cops knew, in case the drug guys, y'know, KIDNAP her and torture her for information? Which is ostensibly why she's in protective custody - so that the bad guys can't "wrap up a loose end".

I like the way that the lady cop instantly changes into something more, uh, "suitable" the moment she's out of the briefing (you know what I mean).
Also I find a lot of irony in the fact that it's an Unskippable vid and there's a "push button to skip this cutscene" message.
