Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

Postby James » 17 Dec 2012, 13:17

You have been tasked with the simple task of saving the free world. No pressure.

Also, not enough words in the title of this game.

Fort Bliss was named for William Wallace Smith Bliss. Army Officer, Mathematician, U.S. Military Academy instructor, and son in law of president Zachary Taylor.

Has nothing to do with the emotion.

Wow. EB really actually sold you the wrong game, huh? My favourite bit about that is the implication that Paul saying "Well, we've already recorded 4 minutes of this, so let's just stick with it" was not actually being snarky or sarcastic, but was in fact completely serious.

Another thrilling trip through the Loading Ready Run recording process!

But really, I can't blame you guys. These tactical desert war games are sort of blurring together at this point. Yes, even the ones that aren't in the desert. How could you be expected to tell them apart?

Also it is also fairly well known in the US and a likely staging point if the US wanted to attack Mexico or Latin America, as far as US Army bases go size it is second only in land area to the missile range directly adjacent to it with like 30,000 troops stationed in it.

I kind of like it that EB sold you the wrong game, now you can take it back and get the correct game at no charge right? It's like two Unskippables for the price of one!

And knowing the actual history of the name Fort Bliss doesn't make this joke any the less funny, since we can just pretend all those forts are named after Military officers too.

Sgt. John Terry Snugglebunny
Major Laurence R. Kittens
Lieutenant Nora Pillow Fight

Sgt. Snugglebunny is a HERO.

No one else can take Fort Stinkeye an re-purpose it into what is now known as "Fort Happy Little Clouds".

"Maybe this fort is a staging area for naval flight training exercises. Maybe they just like clouds, and that's fine. We're not judging here."
