You made a typo during the Ubisoft movies part: "Dungeon Seige 2". Also, 2 of 3 Checkpoints started with E3 2010 Sony press conference. ;)

Oh, one more thing. Is there a way to get the "bloop-bloop-bloop-bleep" sound from the start/end/Rejected? That would be an epic ringtone.

Haha, the return of Uwe Boll jokes.

I enjoyed this one more than I remember enjoying the other two. Haven't yet figured out why, though. Keep up the awesome!

£5 says Valve be 'trolling' (again(again)), if they aren't there then they would be forced to wait to give us further info on their snack bar, and we know they can't resist that.
Also is Graham's willingness to torrent Codware3 perhaps a subtle hint that he doesn't respect the developers very much?

So if you take the t-shirt Paul is wearing in this and combine it with the jacket he was wearing for The Whole Story: Spam, you get the outfit he was wearing in Watchmen Watching.

Just putting that out there.

I may have been scouring too many old videos for Spot.

Definitely the best one yet, guys.
Booth babes dressed as lack of news killed me.

Holy... woah. I just. Wow. You may officially know our costume racks better than we do.

To be fair, I was rewatching Watchmen Watching this morning, and noticed Paul's jacket because it has that distinctive shoulder and button loop in a different color. I don't have this stuff memorized.

Slightly more on topic, I also enjoyed the use of "agog".

I like the incredibly subtle digs at the PA forums.

This time?

"Just being polite."

Because it shocked them so.

I laughed, and loved.
I enjoyed the return to making fun of Uwe Boll jokes, and in response to Jer, it is so obvious that they are taking the time off from E3 in order to make "Meet the Medic."
I whole heartly believe that if Valve stops making games, they will complete with Pixar for movies, and win.

I was not happy with the Virtual Console joke... Nintendo STILL has yet to release EarthBound for the Virtual Console! (And yes, I'm aware of the music licensing issues they're having with that, but I say fuck the RIAA.)

I completely agree that Chrono Trigger was the crown jewel of the games that previously didn't appear on the Virtual Console. All the other ones I want fall into niches that probably only interest me.

Good episode!

Great Checkpoint guys, I laughed a lot. 'Must...torrent!' Also this one felt a lot snappier than last weeks. And I continue to love the theme music. And now I must go, I'm making a 'lack of gaming news' costume.

I had to stop and catch my breath after that MW bit. Fucking excellent.

I liked this one the most so far. I didn't think the "just being polite" was a dig on the SE forum, just them being... them.

My personal critique would be that in the point/counterpoint between Jer and Paul, I would have appreciated seeing them on a different set, like two chairs with a coffee table between, like one of those old fashioned chat shows. Or, since Jer is usually the rugged "Man on the Street" then he should have been on the street, actually.

Trisha Lynn
...and for surreality, it could have been a different street each time...

I have just discovered your videos through PATV a short while ago and may I say you guys are great. Very entertaining, sarcastic, and witty. Me like!

edit (Insert jackass comment here out of ignorance) /edit

The shows are highly entertaining. Keep up the good work!

Not sure if trolling.

As posted by Kathleen at the PA forums, http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?t=142034&page=2, Jer has Strabismus http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001999/, and you, sir, are breaking our rules http://loadingreadyrun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13361

That's ok.

Just remember, we're Canadian(well, the LRR crew is, not the forums [I am though]).

The LRR crew loves feedback, positive or negative, but be sure to do it politely.

Yeah, I know you're Canadian folks, and as a generalization that may or may not be true/fair, your people seem to be very civil and polite in the many situations I've encountered you in.

On the other hand, I'm an American. We tend to be dicks first and apologize later (maybe). Sorry again about that. The article on Strabismus is pretty fascinating, actually. A very close friend of mine is married to a girl with the condition and apparently there is very little they can do to fix hers. She's cool with it and actually likes when we lovingly joke about her giving us the "evil eye" LOL.

Again, apologies all around. I really did mean it when I said I enjoy the show, and look forward to many more episodes in the future!

J

I'm not sure what you said that apparently warranted an apology, and to be honest I don't really care. Mistakes happen, so consider yourself forgiven.

Welcome to LRR, Joterfett. I hope you enjoy your stay.

Everything is great! Really! However I don't know if I was the only one who thought the sub-text/captions/whatever you call the bottom banner had too much going on at times. So much so, that my focus on the banner, stopped me from focusing on what is actually being said. A lot of good jokes in the banners but it becomes a hassle to split my focus properly.

On the topic of making jokes about the Penny Arcade forum, it is astounding how much more civil and even complimentary the discussion in CheckPoint threads has become in just two weeks, simply because you were polite to them. :P
Actually, no. Not :P. :P implies that I'm joking. On second thoughts, I am honestly astounded.

And I really liked "When is no news no news?" Hilarious delivery, Graham.
