http://www.penny-arcade.com/patv/checkpoint/105/It's a new CheckPoint! Is CODE right for you? Probably not!

Graham getting checkpoints made me do a spittake, and I wasn't even drinking anything, it was that hilarious.
Also, everything else was funny.

I think the "Technical Wizard" & "Technical Rogue" got the most laughs, but I am a pretty big nerd.

That was a chuckle.
And it's not like I'm not, I play D&D a lot.
But the "Douche" comment coupled with his acting was just brilliant.

I had to rewind after Paul's lines about assuming PSN is running and cutting himself off before he said achievements because I was laughing way too hard.
Also, please continue with Checkpoints, that was brilliant

Can I have some Checkpoints?

The interplay between Jer and Paul was great. And I'll bet tons of people will be asking for Checkpoints. In fact, once the PA forums stop being busy (likely with E3 news) I'll make that the tag for the forum post.
ETA:
http://forums.penny-arcade.com/showthread.php?t=142995You're welcome.

...um, I'd like some Checkpoints, too...

I vote to keep checkpoints as a running joke, that was too funny when Graham got his "douche" checkpoints. Also, the pre-recorded opening was hilarious. Graham's new Interplay logo is also much better for a modern age.

Loved the delivery of the "Haah... prerecorded." line.
Also... that means no E3 News Bytes this year?

I unlocked 300 Checkpoints by pimping Checkpoint on both Twitter and Facebook!
It's such a shame this isn't on the Escapist; making Checkpoints the badges for watching the show would be a natural.

I laughed way too loud at that one. I was afraid I would wake everyone up

I can haz CheckPoints?
The E3 dead zone continues but at least the Elite system's there for a well deserved drubbing. Mad props on the stellar production values, too.

I don't even really know why, but I cracked up at Kathleen's, "You're not playing video games: you're "looking at porn"."

Yeah, Graham's Checkpoints line was the highlight. Overall, though, Checkpoint has been great, and this one was very good too.
EDIT: Though, there was slight greenscreen failure with Jer's segment. Or an encoding error if greenscreen wasn't used.

Great stuff guys!
Maybe you can afford Paul a less hobo-y shirt?

Is the CheckPoint video
meant to be going up slightly earlier than the other regular videos? Because it seems sort of like it is...
That said, I love the idea of unlocking CheckPoints, and like everyone else, I completely don't care that Jer JUST MADE THEM UP, I want some!
I'm guessing that that's the message here; we don't care about how pointless the reward system is as long as it sounds kinda cool.

I lauged more at Graham getting Checkpoints than anything you guys ever did in ENN! Well, maybe except the ENN through time flashback thing, which is maybe the funniest thing I have ever seen. Good job crew

@WAYF - We don't control the update times. PATV updates on a different schedule than The Escapist, so it's up to them.

Okay, the entire episode had me grinning throughout, I chuckled a few times, but that pseudo-stinger of Graham's? ROFL
I.

Thanks again for this great stuff, guys!
(Oh, and quite apart from the Interplay's age is another thing that people should have remembered: the company was in dire financial straits since 1998, and went into a 'business coma' in 2004; if it wasn't for BethSoft BUYING (not licensing but TAKING OWNERSHIP for money) the rights to Fallout, Interplay would still exist only as a 'this is what we're required to notify you of by the SEC' website.)

Woot! I'd like to thank the academy, and...
Actually, just so it's clear, I don't think I should automatically get Checkpoints for posting the forum thread and I wasn't really asking for them. But I am very glad to have the first official forum Checkpoints!

I don't see anything wrong with the Interplay logo. It actually looks pretty rad.
