Episode 18 - Retirement Plan

Postby Matt » 06 Sep 2011, 08:09

Every character wears out their welcome at some point. The trick is knowing when to let them make a classy exit.

A nice Jer exit episode. I see you found a great story to use as his exit story.

Jer: If you read these, then you're probably already seen this in the LRRcast topic and the one topic in General Discussion, but I'll miss seeing you in the various LRR videos while you're gone, and I wish you the best of luck at school working to continue to exist!

Good luck, Jer! Missing you already, actually.

Speaking of milking, kind of expected a crack at remakes and digging up dead franchises. Then again, maybe that would've run it into the ground a little. And, of course, a great Jer sendoff.

If Jer wanted to drop the mike, why didn't he just reach up, grab the pole, and proceed to drop THAT? Ah well, it dropped in the end anyway.

But yeah, sorry to see you go Jer. Still good to know you'll be there during Desert Bus. I'm sure Alex will LOVE to get clubbed by you some more! :)

Good luck Jer!

Also, the Professor Layton story kinda upset me. Why are they planning on releasing PL4 soon and not doing any work on getting Professor Layton v Phoenix Wright ready for US/Canada release

Good episode as usual.

One small suggestion. If you are using a map again in the future, perhaps use one with more contrast. The white on light blue map of Japan didn't show up very well for me.

And a great ending to his story as well with the mic comment, I'm sure Jim Sterling will laugh st it.
