Ahh, the delightful nuggets of ridiculousness that come from court filing papers.

Hmm, I see a couple of technical issues:
1) The name (as seen when you mouseover the video) seems to be Season 2, Episode 03 rather than episode 4. (The title above the video is correctly labeled.)
2) The segment where Graham talks about Infinity Blade (starting 2:03) seems quieter than the other segments. Graham is still completely audible, but it's a noticeable drop in volume.
3) Two minutes of nothing at the end?

Technical issues aside, good episode....

Graham's face at the end was PRICELESS! Nice episode.
Totally accurate, except for all the times I'm not.

I 100% sympathise with Graham's face, because holy crap! Marathon?!

Do not know if want.

It's like hearing about a possible remake of Apocalypse Now...

...by Michael Bay.

Well, that and the larger problem that Bungie more or less gutted the Marathon series when they realised they didn't actually have any interesting ideas for Halo. Anything they do with it now is likely just going to feel like a rehash of Halo, with none of the ingenious design and astonishingly good writing that defined the Marathon games.

Ah, who am I kidding, I can gripe all I like, but the mere prospect of a well done modern remake of Marathon makes me, well...

Yeah. Pants.

Having never played Marathon, I don't really have the pants problem.

I had a playback issue during the street fighter X tekken segment. I was going to ask if it was intentional, but upon re-watching, it worked fine.

Which way to the change rooms? I just Marathoned.

Also this seems like a good time to mention Aleph One. An open source version of the Marathon 2 game engine. Using Aleph One you can play through the Marathon trilogy on current PC's. It's available from http://source.bungie.org/

Sadly, because Marathon isn't a part of my history, I didn't cream myself at the prospect of new one. Still, having blazed through the Aleph One versions of the games, I'm up for bit more of that.

I thought Halo was the later version of Marathon? Or was Red vs Blue lying to me?

Halo is sort of the spiritual successor to Marathon. There are a lot of references to Marathon in Halo, especially in Halo 1, but I don't think there's any direct link.

The very end of Halo 3 is probably the closest thing there is to a direct link.

Halo is kind of the Coke Zero version of Marathon. Superficially it looks the same, and it even sort of tastes the same, if it's been a really long time since you've had a real Coke. But, if you compare them side by side, you're like "Holy crap, what is this piss masquerading as the thing I wanted?"

Least, that's my 2 cents. The difference, for me, is mostly Durandal. Cortana was... Yeah. Durandal sold out humanity's first interstellar colony for fun and profit, single handedly brought an entire alien empire to it's knees, tied the whole of space-time into a pretzel, and then achieved divinity. Cortana got a little stressed out that one time.

Also, Master Chief basically had no personality whatsoever. Despite not having cutscenes, or any dialogue, the main character of Marathon actually felt like a character, because you were always faced with questions about yourself, your humanity, and your motivations. The game gave you a blank slate, and then actually gave you a reason to think about what to put there.
