S2E12 - Gamer Marketing
When making something you want gamers to buy, make sure it's super shiny and ridiculous.

Tell me, Graham, why do you associate guacamole with "popping back up repeatedly"?

While I loved the episode, I have to keep in mind to keep the volume lower then average next time. Less my entire office hear Kathleen yell out "Look at my boobs!"
You know. Again.

Yeah, I had the exact same problem. I think I'll just bring in earbuds next time.Nirvana wrote:While I loved the episode, I have to keep in mind to keep the volume lower then average next time. Less my entire office hear Kathleen yell out "Look at my boobs!"

while kathleen's cleavage is awesome (more-so because it's attached to an interesting, funny human being) if it's even close to that bad on certain other gamer-oriented news I'm glad I don't have cable.

I think the comparison was to "Whack-A-Mole," not "guacamole."

Now, maybe if it were a laptop with Optimus-like LED display keys instead of just light-up keys...

Are you left-handed, or do you just enjoy being handicapped by having fewer keys in close proximity to your movement keys?

I think Graham just refuses to admit he's allergic to avocados.

That's also not even remotely how you pronounce guacamole.

"Lets light up the arrow keys, cause gamers definitely don't know where those keys are." It just seems silly.
Totally accurate, except for all the times I'm not.

All I have to say is: I heard you liek tits
It's how Zapp Brannigan pronounces it, reinforcing how wrong it is.Graham wrote:That's also not even remotely how you pronounce guacamole.
I'm right-handed and I use arrows for FPS movement as well, with Enter = use, R-Ctrl = crouch, and R-Shift = jump.UNHchabo wrote:Are you left-handed, or do you just enjoy being handicapped by having fewer keys in close proximity to your movement keys?Geoff_B wrote:I can't have that laptop. yes I'm not a gamer, maybe runner and brony, but gamer no I haven't purchased a pc or console game in over 7 year, my newest console is a Sega Master System II.
the two games I have used the most time on are Robotron 2084 and Metal Slug.
Wait that's not quite right, Desert bus, the last 3 desert bus' and and the video of the last two, that is the game that have taken the most of my time.

I'm a leftie. So the first thing I do when I get a new game is to re-configure the controls. Games that don't let me do this make me sad

Ditto; I'm a southpaw, but I always preferred to use a 'right-handed' mouse since I could also take notes while clicking, etc.
Then when 'WASD' became a control convention, I was already set up and didn't have to relearn anything or fiddle around with keymaps or whatnot.
Oh, and I'd like to take a moment to say that BOTH Zyxst and I like boobs; Kathleen's in particular are nice.

Another left-hander here (well, technically ambidextrous, but I favour the left) that uses a mouse and keyboard in a right handed configuration. It's just how I learned to do it, I literally didn't know anyone used the mouse with their left hand until long after it was too late to change.

Uggh. I'm glad I don't watch other gaming news shows. I'd hate to be in 'gamer mode' all the time.
The voices and behavior were spot on, which shames me as a human being and someone who likes video games.
Excellent delivery for the gaming world's insanity as usual.

No, Techmo will not be defeated. In the next update, you will literally fight anthropomorphic bikinis on a giant thong while the disc tray spews swimwear at you.

I suspect that the response will next be to ship the game in a bakini and thong. Including swimsuit accessories for our controllers in a premium pack.

I'm sorry, but Kinect won't work for this game if it doesn't detect you wearing a swimsuit.
