Underwhelmed by the Xbox One. Here's a few reasons why.

was it just me or did anyone else hear a thump sound after the opening just before the first story?
I may not be funny or witty, but that does not make me less strange.

It's just you. Maybe there's a problem with your speakers?

(shhh! You heard nothing)

I heard it too Lumar, you aren't hearing things outside of your video.

And I agree completely! Microsoft has to get their act together if they want a chance against Sony and Nintendo!

When I *THUMP* gameplay footage of Garden Warfare, that was roughly my reaction, too. Or, more specifically, I thought to myself, "This does look pretty neat, and I'll probably at least give it a shot, but it's sort of clear that EA doesn't have the slightest clue what to do with Popcap now that they've had a couple years to really, REALLY think about it".

I mean, I thought the correct answer would've been "just keep giving them money and let them do what they were doing", but bean counters, well, they don't think like that...

I cracked up at the reference to Kathleen's joy over the Kinectimal baby tigers from oh-so-long ago in the lower third! Nicely done.

I really liked this episode. The points Graham (and the episode) made about what Microsoft needs to do and Sony pretty much mirrors what I think. It also didn't turn into all Xbox One bashing like so many things have lately (not that they don't deserve it, but it being everyone is what annoys me).

Of course, making those points and still being funny was an accomplishment. :)

When I heard the *THUMP* I thought something had fallen over in the studio, but since neither G nor K reacted... Kathleen's explained it anyway...
As Yahtzee said, there is no middle finger big enough.

Holy SHIT, that was the most sensibly worded, most reasonably-delivered, and inarguably BEST 'constructive feedback' for M$ and its Xbone team I have heard.

(to be honest, it's right up there for 'best advice ever')

Props man; that must've taken a lotta restraint to take something that EVERYONE is revelling in taking shots at, and being the 'sage advisor that helps downtrodden protagonist overcome unfair criticism and persist' in all those formulaic films & tv shows. :)

Well, I mean, PvZ:GW is just one version, PvZ2 is an F2P coming out as well. At least from what I've seen.

I've watched this one twice, and even the second time, when Kathleen says Dead Rising 3 is "an Xbox One exclusive," I thought, "Wait, I thought they stopped supporting the original Xbox years ago." And then I quickly realize what it means, but apparently I do want to kick Microsoft when they are down because I also don't care for their branding.

Well, true, but still, the existence of PvZ:GW in the first place is what's telling me EA's completely lost with regards to what they should do with Popcap.

But...Peggle 2....

Also, it's not like Garden Warfare is an FPS. It looks like Orcs Must Die with plants. I'm really not THAT surprised by it.
