12 - Some of THESE Truck-Nuts

Postby Matt » 10 Aug 2011, 12:16

Trust Alex and Jeremy to ram Magic: The Gathering in where it doesn't belong. Also, plastic scrotums.

For a start, I'm so excited to see Jer. Although, now I don't know who to look forward to anymore!

I feel dirty for laughing at the yoga ball thing, though. For shame.

Actually, I thought the yoga ball thing was the best part. Close 2nd is "north and south carolina still insist they are separate states."

Jer and Alex in the same room, a camera and no clubbing? What happened?

So, I hate to be "that guy" but fuck it, I'm that guy anyway.

There is no bone known as the "fibia". You have a fibula and a tibia (with a "T"); they are both located in your calf.

Well no wonder he didn't know what a fibia looked like then! :D

I hope/dread that this story might come up in next week's episode: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/odd/news/a3 ... ottle.html

It would be hard for him to pay that fine, as he'd already blown his wad.

So you guys got to be Elder Dragon Legends for the intro, and Jer got stuck with Chromium?

If I were him, I'd go on a rampage.

...I'm sorry.

I wish to see more of Alex and Jer in Feed Dump as this episode was simply hilarious because of them and their antics.

So I pretty much stopped watching internet video for a few months while life happened, and I come back to discover that you guys have basically turned Phailhouse into an escapist show and I am so happy. So very happy.

I enjoyed Graham's acknowledgement of the inherent awesome naming combinations that come from being a Stark. Tony and Eddard... I envy your name selection.

In my limited understanding clubbing was a thing around Desert Bus but is no longer quite such a thing. Plus a bandolier of cans is hard to top.

...I am really slow on the uptake. It took me until this thread to realize why "Tony" would be a good name for Graham's child.

Oh, there have been a few clubs here and there.
Particularly on the Seattle roadtrip, all of them Jer on Alex. Alex has yet to repay the debt.

I sincerely hope that clubbing will make a comeback for DB5. Alex's rage-face is hilarious.

What's that? You thought this wasn't happening? Oh, think again. Hello all, I'm JackSlack with Action 9 news.

It's been a turbulent week in the news. Not only have recent events overseas in Extracreditstan rocked the Esca-Zone, but this week's market went haywire, much like those weird markets that involve "banks" and "stocks". Screw them. We want the hat market.

Plus, the party only just stopped at JackSlack manor. Much like the Republicans, I'm bling, baby, bling.

That sentence made sense in an alternate dimension. You know it.

None the less, this week's market was a true challenge to analyse. Multiple rapid-fire cuts, numerous shots involving multiple market forces and categories, a high flying total of 66 shots? I doubt the market could have possibly made a tougher week to analyse.

For the love of God, Loading Ready Run, please do not take that as a challenge, I beg you.

Still, let's look at the count by count.

Image

As you can see, I just made over double my profits (from 26.1% to 53%) by shifting from the prescription eyewear market to the hatless last week. Ladies? Ladies? Huh? Ladies? Please? No, really. The party was long, but a bit of a sausage fest. But you know who WAS there? The Non-Prescription Eyewear investors. Just a week ago, anyone with money in NPEW Index lost everything. But if you invested this week? It shot up from 0% to 13.64%! I'm pretty sure that's infinite money. I mean, OK, so would be the wig market, (up to 1.52% from zero) but, pffft. That gets eaten up in market fees. Infinite or no.

The big loser this week was prescription eyewear (down from 72% to 35%) and surprisingly, the hat market itself. Let's look at haturation.

Image

Now, the interesting point is that the market actually looked good this week. But the sheer volume of shots drove down the market, hitting us close to hattrition.

As for me, I'm planning to: First, put all my money back in prescription eyewear (market over-reacted, I'm convinced) and Second? Get some LADIES to the manor. We have more wine? Like, the forklift has been moved to the pool.

Yes, construction equipment and pools? Good combo. Believe me.

Dude, North Carolina is totally its own state! We have the professional football team and everything!

The only reason to ever go to South Carolina is because they have the only Medieval Times on the east coast
