I am not angry at you.
Re: 13 - Bars and Wine
Matt, your title makes too much sense.
I thought this episode was good but it seems like you are trying to stretch out just one or two pieces of news into a whole episode. I think more news and a bit of funny commentary between would work better. It seemed to drag a bit this week.

I don't get why the Escapist seems to have so much Missy-hate. I thought she did great. The facial expression response to "Where are you shopping for your wine?" was perfect.
Re: 13 - Bears and Wine
We weren't "trying to stretch" so much as we just kept talking about a given thing for a while.
Also, I loved having Missie there with Kathleen, I think they make a great team.

Wait, wait. Back up. "Missie hate?" Can those words even fit together in a sentence like that?
I've always thought Missie did a really good job every time she ever cropped up in a LRR video (her appearances in ENN especially). I thought she did a good job here, but that's just me.

Re: 13 - Bears and Wine
So. Did you know that in the Slack family tree, we have several naval veterans? Oh yeah. You may think this has nothing to do with hatistics. And you'd be right. But I've got to fill this slot somehow, and this week... has nothin'. Nothin'. Hello, I'm JackSlack, and this is Action 9 news.
It looked like such an interesting week in the market: The introduction of a brand new force: The Missie Force (hereafter referred to as the p) was unheralded, with no consideration in Phailhaüs simulations. But then again, last week the Jer Force was there and I don't think he was ever PhailSümmed either, so who cares? The market does not, that's for sure. Let's show you the count by count.
Look at that. Look at it. Prescription Eyewear? Up a tiny amount. Hatless? Up a tiny amount. Hats took a bit of a leap, I suppose, but it's well short of historical rates. NPEW dove, but that's just because the NPEW goes up and down more than your mom the night after the Princess Marguerite III pulls into port.
Actually, that's how my dad met my mom – naval veterans, like I said – so maybe I shouldn't talk.
Point is, nobody is saying the p did this. Missie, we find your p uninteresting. Let's look at the haturation.
And y'know what? That ain't bad. That's a good, steady level of haturation. No dramas tonight.
Damn it, this news report is dull. Thanks a LOT, hat market. So, I'm JackSlack, and here's a picture of a kitty.
Aww. It's adorable.

it'll be funny if he pops that wine bottle and it's all vinegar...

Yay! They used my "cues" gag!
Nice to see Missie getting involved, and Graham and Kathleen were excellent as usual. No better place for weird world news than Feed Dump! (And certainly no place with more hats.)

Missie is awesome, and needs to be in more LRR stuff.

Re: 13 - Bears and Wine
I think we need to consider the 'story with bear + Kathleen' factor, given that it accounted for almost every single hat shot in the episode.

I love Feed Dump and I really enjoyed this episode, but it wasn't until this that I actually laughed out loud.

Fixed. I'm sorry but footballs can't drive cars.
The mental image is damn funny, though.

There were a *few* negative comments about her performance, but "much Missie-hate" is a bit of an overstatement.
It looked like you guys had fun, and that Kathleen liked to have a girl to play off of for once...
As Yahtzee said, there is no middle finger big enough.
