Most places don't accept American dollars, just like anywhere in the world rarely accepts other countries' money, although I've seen some that did for the same number value when the USD was much stronger than the CAD, which I'm not sure is still the case (so for instance instead of 15 CA dollars they'd accept 15 US dollars even though with the exchange rate it should be 10 US dollars).

The market continues to tumble through its post haturation recovery period with wild throes of turbulence and destruction. This week saw two unprecedented events:

First, the appearance of the unheralded Andy force. Normally confined to Vancouver markets, the appearance of the Andy is a devastating and worrying sign. For others, not for me. Wooheee!

Second, the Andy force's arrival heralded something before considered impossible: The wholesale destruction of a primary stock. Prescription glasses were wiped out in the Andy force, leaving millions of share holders, mostly middle aged mom & pop types with superannuation accounts, destitute.

Suck it, you suckers. I was in HATLESS.

Well, Canada is close to the US and they've gone to conventions and stuff, so they probably have some left. I assume they're using US bills because US has one dollar bills when the smallest one in Canada is 5 dollars (with one and two dollar coins) and coins aren't as easy to slip under people's clothing. And if you pay five dollars, Canadian or not, every time you slip a bill, you'll go broke much faster!
