Don't worry, Graham, the Hat Market doesn't require these threads. Jack posts the leaderboard every week after a new video is posted (even though, you know, he doesn't need to calculate everyone's gains - or losses - every single week now that there is a website) and Fugiman opens the market shortly thereafter.

The threads remain the place for Hatistics, though, so they're definitely a major part of Hat Stock culture. But opening one later than usual won't damage the market in any way nor inconvenience any shareholder.
