I've never actually tried a pumpkin-flavoured hot beverage, but I keep hearing about them. I don't know if I want to or not!

As I understand it, it's "pumpkin-flavoured" in the same way as "chicken-flavoured" chips... ie a collection of spices and seasonings originally designed to be put on pumpkins, collectively referred to as "pumpkin spice".
Of course, that information gives me nothing to go on to have any idea what it actually tastes like... other than "not actually pumpkin".
"Pumpkin" no longer looks like a real word.
