Just in case anyone was wondering, the laughter and "What?!"s in the background were me and not LRR Matt.

How does a game like this have a harder difficulty unlock after completion? Did they really think that this game was so good, fun to play and not at all controller shattering frustrating that people would want to play again, at an even harder difficulty?

The committee making decisions behind this game probably horribly misunderstood the developers' complaints about "stunlock" to mean "stunning", as in quality, and then one thing led to another, and...

Also - and things aren't certain - but there was mention that when they resumed the game after the 'first ending' (with Brad's visit coming to an end), that they were playing on "Crusader" difficulty which is...medium? Or vente? *shrug*

Nonetheless, the gameplay STILL smacks of unimaginative "just pile on more and more enemies to pad out the playing time". :(

You all must have the patience of saints to actually finish that game, I am seriously impressed that you finally got through it. Would you be super opposed to doing a 25th episode of Cursed Crusade where you take the game and burn it? If not, you should definitely hold on to it in case you do another fun with microwaves in the future, it'd make a great stinger.

Or at least a video of Graham and Paul walking off with a spade to bury the game as Graham threatened in the commentary.

But my word, that ending.

I'm pretty sure trying to set the game disk on fire would be pretty unsatisfying... a few bursts of fire and it'll just collapse into a couple of pieces and fall through the floor.

And even then, you'll have to examine it first, and that just seems like a cost too high to bear.
While no one overhear you quickly tell me not cow cow.
but how about watch phone?

That's not what would happen if you set the game CD on fire. First it would gurgle, then it would float up into the air and just stay there, preventing you from leaving the moonbase unless you really, really hugged the right hand side of the wall. Then, it would launch itself into deep space and somehow get lodged inside Graham's computer and be impossible to interact with ever again.

I have a better disposal idea, but it involves access to a large quantity of nitric acid (which I can attest is IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of), a lab with cooling system and a large quarry to blow up.

You're all underestimating this game. To destroy it, one must take up a cursed crusade themselves. They must take the disk to Mordor and throw it deep into Mount Doom. Only then shall it truly be destroyed.

Do we at least get to arbitrarily become demons (just like literally everyone else we meet on the way) along with our supposedly-Spanish friend with a disturbing obsession over the fires of Hell?

I hear that if you are logged on to the PSN and have the "Completed on any setting" trophy public, ATLUS automatically detect it and send you a personal note of apology.

Just popping in to say that I would almost be willing to watch a half-hour video of Kathleen making wharrgarbl/disemboweling noises. She is a master of the craft.

I think I'll paraphrase Meatloaf & Jim Steinman to respond to Boofinka's suggestion:

Oddly enough I have to disagree with you, I've seen worse. I honestly think that ending was a bit better then Dante's inferno.

I don't get why you guys don't like the ending.
