Great first Magic podcast! Id like to hear about some of your favorite moments in Magic in a future episode. Like amazing combos you have done or funny ways you have won, or just interesting stories.

Like I lost a game one time when I played Emrakul and attacked, because Annihilator went off and my opponent then sacrificed Abyssal Persecutor when I had negative life. The only time attacking with an Eldrazi was a bad decision but was still funny.

I think you're going to have to record something called Wizard Chat at some point, or the internet may explode before long...

Great podcast. I am looking forward to future episodes of *turning to the rest of the forums and speaking loudly* Tap. Tap. Concede.

I will be excited to hear about how your prereleases go.

I actually collected Prophecy when it first came out. By today's standards the cards are sooo bad.

I'd love to see the Avatars reprinted, though. They were fun.

Your first magic podcast, and you talk about the set when I first played magic.

I still have my Red-Green Prophesy deck [the first I ever owned]. It has both the Keldon Berzerker, the Chimeric Idol, and Calming verse in it as well.

Prophesy cards are kinda bad though. Just old enough that the creatures are bad. Just new enough that the spells are not broken.

Great podcast looking forward to the future ones. I liked the spin on the crack-a-pack bit, it is usually a bunch of fun to look at old cards. When you started talking about the Dimir leader, I was hoping that you would talk about the other guild leaders too. Also thanks for talking about the promo cards, I didn't know they had said who would get what and I am really happy to hear that I will get to use the Fathom Mage on game day.

At the end of the podcast you said something about putting a draft up, any chance you could point me in its direction?

Wizards comes to you (since you are awesome comedy folks) and says we're doing a third Un-series of cards (Unsound?) and we'd like you to design one. What do you come up with?

Also, if we want alliteration with armoring for the firebreathing alternative.

Anal Armoring?

Oh my gosh, thank you so much for putting the cards you talk about on screen. That's one of the things I always wish was possible for Limited Resources, since I often lose track of which cards they're talking about.

Overall, though, really like that you decided to dedicate a separate podcast to Magic. Not only does it keep AskLRR from getting too Magic-centric, but it allows you guys to come up with your own Magic Topics to talk about. That makes both things much better quality.

Great Podcast I look forward to future epesodes. Some thoughts I had as I watched it:

Judges familiar only counters instants and sorceries so its not just better than spiketail hatchling which is good because I loved that guy back in the day and would be sad if he was obsolete.

Also good back in the day Chimeric Idol. Being able to dodge sorcery speed removal is very nice, and back then 3 for a 3/3 was much better.

Is it sad that I didn't find the trivia hard at all?

I would have liked to hear your thoughts on Battalion. On one hand it's really cool, but on the other I'm worried about it pushing you to over extend and make bad attacks.

And I have already reserved a spot for my prerelease and I'm going to be playing Simic, although I'm hopping to splash some nice Dimir cards. I don't care what Kathleen says, Cipher seems really good.

For a moment of seriousness, the term I've most often heard used for "W: [blah] gets +0/+1 until end of turn" is Honor Guarding. I don't think there is a universal term, though.

Well, until you guys coined "buttbreathing," that is.

Fun podcast. The crack-a-pack was entertaining. I know I decided to go Simic for the pre-release because the Fathom Mage promo art looks amazing. The art you showed was actually from the normal version of the card. This is the promo art for those who don't know:

For future questions... I guess the one that pops out is what do you think of Gatecrash now that it's out (since you'll be answering them in a month)? I know I'd love to have my decks named. Another good question for a month from now is which is your favorite planeswalker so far? Also, which is your favorite guild-leader, both flavor-wise and for actual use? A classic question is how do you set up your battlefield? Land on top or creatures on top? And of course there's always the question of how I tap for fish?

Oh wow, yes. "Name Your Deck" is totally getting in as a recurring segment.

We'll need a decklist, and to know how the deck wins.

O great now I have to figure out what deck I have needs a name... this might take a while.

And I'm done. Picked two decks and made deck lists. When ever you start accepting them I'll submit one. Just a FYI none of my decks are standard or limited. My friends and I play VERY casual magic with just what ever we have so I have stuff from worldwake in some of my decks.

I'll put up decklists for one or both of my decks after Gatecrash hits and I get my box. I doubt Gatecrash will make a large difference, but I just have to wait and see.

Oh me and a friend have been brewing a fun and potentially actually good deck based around Biovisionary that we have been having trouble coming up with a good enough name for. I might submit that.

I actually made a deck inspired by the sphere of safety deck from Thursdays live draft. I'm submitting that one. It has the same theme but older cards as well as the sphere of safety. It worked way to well when I played it.

Soul Tithe on a platinum angel and my friend had -10 life lol. Pay for it every turn or die! He also would have needed 18 mana to swing at me and only had 9. :D
