As soon as they mentioned artist specific, I went to look at what legendary creatures John Avon had illustrated. He has 3 and among them is Colfenor. Graham wins :P

Credited Gibb for lack of anyone else to credit. I figure since it's a card shop it has all of the lands, and you should easily obtain cards from it. I put in the Dan token more to give the land a weakness then anything else. If it just stuck around like a normal land it would be completely broken. Oh, and of course it had to be a yellow/golden card. Nothing else would have been acceptable.

Credited Paul because Him, James, and Graham were credited for camera and both Graham and James were in the scene. Made him Blue because blue normally connects to rules and law both of which there are a lot of in Magic, and someone who works at a Magic shop would know plenty of. Again the token is more supposed to be a weakness then an asset to the card hence the 0/1 vanilla-ness of it.

There is a program that I've downloaded named Magic Set Editor, it's perfect for this stuff.

I've only got two commander decks right now, one with Kresh, and the other with Sen Triplets. My triplets deck has next to no interaction with my commander, as whenever I play it, someone kills it immediately. I mostly just wanted to make a fun, somewhat-playable WUB commander deck and it does just that.
As for the card creation, this is probably the easiest way to make Yellowjacket a land, but I still like it.

I dunno how to make one o' dem card thengies, but as it's a gaming shop it should have abilities like
"TapXX: Search you library for a card with casting cost X and put it into play" for buying cards.
Or
"Tap and Destroy target card you control: search your library for a card with equal or lesser converted mana cost and put it into your hand" for trading cards.

Or you could go meta with it and let it "defend" cards from the LRR set. Prehaps like
"Tap: remove target card you control from the LRR set from the game. put it back into play at the begining of your upkeep"
So if for example someone tried to lightning bolt graham you could use this and he would not die.

In my opinion the most flavorful ability is already taken by the unhinged set. "Enter the dungeon" (Players play a Magic subgame under the table starting at 5 life, using their libraries as their decks. After the subgame ends, the winner searches his or her library for two cards, puts those cards into his or her hand, then shuffles his or her library.)
Basically it would be.
Yellow jacket Games
Legendary Land- snow covered island
(Tap) add 1 (blue) to your pool
(Tap) see above.

Canada is cold, Victoria is on an island and you play games of mtg at an LGS....
Hints a snow covered island

-Or-

Yellow jacket Games
Legendary Land- snow covered island
(Tap) add 1 (blue) to your pool
(Tap) choose a player type (Johnny, Timmy, Spike,) any number of target players loose life equal to the number of "Spikes", draw cards equal to the number of "Johnnys", and gain life equal to the number of "Timmys" you can count from your seat.

It changes based on the nights you're playing it and location.

Another ability I'm toying with.
Tap and sacrifice yellow jacket games
Each player draws 15 cards.
Randomize these cards. Play a "draft" with these cards. The player that wins the draft wins the game.

Oh and yellow jacket has ability "no max hand size"

This is my first post on these forums!

The concept here is that lots of humans like to play Magic, and when you get enough of them into the room, you have a tournament, with random pairings of course. Couldn't figure out how to include byes without making the card dumb though.

Hey, Graham if you are using a sapling of Colfner are you using the Jar as well? The Jar allows you to store the ashes of your fallen trees to be used to replant new populations of them.

So I want to make an Lrr commander theme deck using one of your cards as a general and other cards made from TTC and forum. I know Paul's generals tend to be the most playable out of all of them. But what would be a special spell (ie. Artifact, Creature, Instant sorcery, Land?) that fits with one of your cards?

Thank you for telling us about your commander decks and I really want to see Swandland deck take off.

Booster Tutor on a land! The effect seemed appropriate for a card store. Booster Tutor is also one of my favorite cards to play in Commander (hey, it's a casual format) because it gets everyone in the game involved in a really unique and interesting way. Plus, you get cool cards to use!

Booster Tutor is what I was thinking of when I made the card, and that's why I included the flavour text. I tried to make it slightly less busted, though it's still super exploitable.

As long as Yellowjacket is in play, all creatures you control are Gamer in addition to their other types.
Tap: add 1 to your mana pool.
1 and Tap: Add 1 mana of any color to your mana pool.
5 and Tap: Target Gamer you control trades power or toughness with another target Gamer you control.

At the beginning of your upkeep you loose one life.
(Tap) add one mana of any color to your pool
(Tap) put a legendary artifact token named "LRR weekly video" onto the battlefield that has the ability "if this video becomes finished you gain 5 life and draw 3 cards"
(Tap) and pay x: search your library for a LRR creature with converted mana cost x or less and put it onto the battlefield tapped.

I love the idea of having weekly video cards, but maybe have different cards representing different videos, each with different abilities for when they're 'finished' which can be done by G*'s card, or maybe some other payable cost on the card or an instant or something?

Also are there duck cards in magic? If not, we should make some and put them in this set for Jer, also we should make creepy dolls and Gibb

What else would Yellowjacket produce, but yellow mana? Also, I don't know how much boosters cost in Canada, so I used what I understand to be the US price. Hopefully it's close enough.
