We crack both the cheapest and most expensive packs we can find, and talk about some crazy Magic at PAX East.

That Rotisserie format sounds insane. I would honestly be scared to participate.

Storm Crow makes the opening titles OP!

But that rotisserie format does sound insane, when the stuff started popping up on my twitter feed I was flabbergasted!

I think that noetic scales might be good in white weenie?

I don't know about those opening titles. I mean, who scoops with Storm Crow AND Chimney Imp on the board?

Yikes! I can see why the packs I gave you at PAX weren't as interesting as Revised. Sorry it was a crap rare.

You kind of skipped over the Scathe Zombies because they are boring, but they are one of the few cards with flavor text from classic literature, so I've always liked them.

For the record, I was in Kathleen's first commander game and not only did I avenge her death, I ended up winning because most of my deck got milled out and that makes Reya Dawnbringer super good. It was a lot of fun.

in the original packs, lands were placeholders. you could crack a pack and get 5 basic land, or you could get 5 dual lands. Dual lands were considered uncommon and just a minor bonus, not super special. It wasn't for quite a while that they realized how insane color fixing was.

Great TapTapConcede this week! A pleasure as always. My wife and I love listening to these on Saturday mornings with a hot cup of coffee.

Question: Graham, you Treefolk deck sounds amazingsauce. Any chance you'll post a decklist (if you haven't already)?

Returning (i assume) giant angels once a turn sounds like a recipie for success to me!

I was the White Sun's Zenith player in Graham's game, and I gotta say, that was some good Magic. Would have liked to hear about James' game, but time is what it is. Looking forward to next year's PAX!

The video says to me "This video is private" I will now attempt to listen and see if that works.
The audio version works.

Thank You Graham

I'm getting that too. It was working when I started, but then I got a little bit in and it froze, so I refreshed. When it came back, it switched to private.

Mike Gills, Promotion master

1/W, 2/U, 3/B, 4/R, 5/G

Planeswalker - Mike

(1/W may be paid with either (1) or W, this card's converted mana cost is 15)

+3 Put a loyalty counter on Mike Gills, Promotion Master for each player watching this game besides you. (this includes your opponent(s))

-X You may remove X cards in your library from play entirely and replace them with X copies of a card you own from outside the game, then shuffle your library. (If this is not a draft, X may not be greater than 4)

-36 Open a new display of your choice, open all packs, and build a new 60 card deck out of that display. Exile all other cards you own besides Mike Gills, Promotion Master, shuffle your new library, and draw 7 cards.

starts with 6 loyalty.

Wow I cannot even imagine the feeling of picking up a PILE of Thundermaw Hellkites. I can't even fathom it. Madness. My envy is overwhelming.

Hope I get to play my Commander deck with Graham at Calgary... I can mooch off his Saproling buffs ^_^

Here`s my Mike Planeswalker card. I wasn`t able to find photography credit for the picture I used, but it was part of WotC`s coverage of an event so I went with that.

I know this plays more like a monoblack card, but I couldn't help but think that the amount of greed in this card makes it completely Orzhov.

Ok so I was SURE I had an account on this forum already, but apparently not. Anyway, big fan, love the magic stuff, love strip search, love Hustle, love you guys because you're awesome etc. etc.

Also, I have risen to this challenge:

Also, Death Mutation + Pandomonium story is disgusting. Our local Commander games occasionally hit 10 cost creatures. Also, Worldspine Worms

Hey LRR crew! You guys are doing a beauty of a job on these videos. The TTC is a great. Huge fan since It's Magic! which came out the same time as my friends and I were discovering Magic again also. Keep up the great work you wonderful Canadian treasures. Anyway here's Mike, the most generous planeswalker ever.

Designed this card to make the game last longer then a draft where each player gets a display. Also to bring out an abundance of cards from any deck.
