TTC - Eternal Formats & Bannings

Postby Graham » 29 Jan 2015, 11:21

The usual crew may not be the best folks to comment on the recent bannings, so we've called in some help.

Thanks for making me feel old, Jer. I lived through that, it was a rough time.

Tiiiiiime constraints :(. Jer runs the VRDs at YJ, though—he should talk about THAT sometime.

It was nice to have Jer on as a guest. His excessive knowledge of the eternal formats was very helpful.

It'd make for a great TTC, I think. The lrr crew seem to enjoy playing busted old stuff in cube, no reason you couldn't proxy up some decks and have a bash! I got to play vintage for the first time at a con last weekend and it was such a different experience. Looking at my hand turn two and seeing three completely unique lines of play with massively different risk:reward outcomes has never happened to me in limited or standard.
