The wolves from the crack a pack seem like they would mesh nicely with Simic. Chump block with the wolves, they return, use Simic Guildmage to move the 1/1 counters and pump a creature. As long as the wolves don't have the counters on them when they die, they will keep returning.

Magical christmas land:
You pump up a creature, play Essence of the Wild (Does undying still give them counters even though they're now Essences?), sac the pumped creature to feed to pack.

Orbs of Warding is probably not ever actually going to be good in limited, but it puts in some serious work in the Commander deck I have that runs it (where it replaced another source of hexproofness that I used to use). Like Graham's story, the general reaction whenever it gets cast is usually "... okay?", everyone kind of forgets it's there if you're not being actively attacked, but then something always seems to happen to make that innocuous phrase "You have Hexproof" relevant.

From preventing death by milling out courtesy of a ridiculous Grindclock combo, rendering a top-decked Contagion Engine suuuuuper bad when the game got down to 1v1 because it targets players when it ETBs, stopping someone from killing everyone else simultaneously via Comet Storm because they don't want to cast it to kill everyone else but me, to laughing out loud when Sorin Markov or Magister Sphinx show up, it turns out that being Hexproof in a game of Commander is pretty rad.

I might be reading the cards wrong, but doesn't obs of warding almost completely shut down Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh?

Well, sort of. She's certainly less useful, but you can target yourself with the ability to flip her, and target yourself with her +1 to tick her up. Her -7 doesn't target though, so you might still be able to do something with her.

Funnily enough, one of the best foods to use when you want to Feed the Pack is not meat, but a Tree of Redemption. Vegan wolves. Whouda thunkit?

I feel like there's a Dave's Wolf Food joke in there somewhere. "Want to feed the pack? How about Tree of Redemption, Worldspine Wurm, or even an Emrakul? Order this nutritious breakfast today (Emrakul not included. Some assembly required?)"
