While it is never dull to see you guys draft, I'm not entirely sure what I think of this concept.
It doesn't have the funsies of your wacky drafts, it doesn't have the chat interaction of your live drafts, and I didn't feel I got the information I would from a normal TTC.
Also this seem a little late for this sort of "let's try out this new card set" episode.

Aaanyway with all that belly aching out of the way, props for trying something new, and despite my grumblings I do feel your concept could work with some further development, maybe something like inter-cutting the draft with you guys back in the studio with some extra commentary ala "This is what we thought in the moment" vs. "This is what we think now"

Cheers!

I agree with theycallmejokke. I like watching you draft, but I know I can go watch those on your twitch or at academy. TTC should be left TTC: Three people talking about something silly related to magic.

Has anyone else had issues with the audio-only version of this starting around the 75-minute mark?

I'm completely ok with a TTC draft, but I'm less sure the additional commentary is worth it. It doesn't really describe the board well enough for audio-only listeners, and it's unnecessary for the video watchers.

I think spending that extra conversation time talking about the draft more, your impressions of the format, etc, would be more valuable.

I feel you do enough drafting already that TTC should stay it's own separate thing.

Just adding another voice saying I always love watching you guys draft, but...that's not why I listen to TTC.

The "everyone's talking about X but we haven't played X" issue is a reasonable one, but maybe rather than doing the draft itself as the podcast you could do that for, idk, MTGOA or just a bonus stream and then talk about it.

Or, two alternatives:

1) A flavor-focused introduction to the set
2) A "place your bets" podcast where you all state what cards you think are going to be bonkers vs. junk, then come back to it a few weeks into the format and see how well everyone did.
When the upkeep takes longer than the main phase, I know I've done my job well.

@jceddy yes. It's very hard to listen to. The podcast is layered on top of itself.
