Slivers are still my least favourite creature type.

They are very good, no doubt about that, but I've never really enjoyed playing against a Sliver deck.

This is true, they are dicks.

It's one reason why I will never make a sliver deck.

The other is money.

actually not that expensive, all things considered.

I made mine literally for the sake of having a deck that can stand to kathleen's faeries deck with a minimum of deckbuilding skill.

Well, my current meta consists of my Riku, aubergine's Kaalia, and my mate's Mimeoplasm and Sharuum.

He's working on his third deck, Angels, and it's supposed to be "a wrath a turn" style.

I don't think a Sliver deck would be appreciated, considering another mate has the premium one (to go with his old one that he had when it was new), and it roflstomps us ALL the time.

MY next two generals are Olivia Voldaren (like I said, vamps <3), and Pheldagryff, because hug you, that's why.

(actually, I intend to end all games by decking everyone, simultaneously...except myself, who will have maybe only 1 card left)

My next commander is Mikaeus, the Lunarch. With a ton of weenies, a few bombs and as much wrath, protection and land destruction as I can cram in.

I'm looking forward to getting Olivia Voldaren myself. Mind Control in red/black? It's so going in my Nicol Bolas commander deck.

Hell, I'll be playing Olivia as my general. There's something about a Vampiric Dragon that can steal creatures that I like. Also, it's not like I need another black-based general between Mimeoplasm and Sheoldred.

...Dragon?

Do you mean Vampiric Dragon?

That's a totally different card, and doesn't steal.

Yes, I do mean to compare Olivia to Vampiric Dragon. (They both have a pinging ability that allows them to get counters, albeit for the dragon, it's not 100% directly.)

take out the field, especially if its flooded then remove 3 from the deck. even if its not flooded, I still beat the sliver deck with this one card

All this Innistrad preview stuff is surprisingly cool. I thought that I found the NPH previews so interesting only because of my attachment to Mirrodin, but seeing how they came up with all this 'original' flavour is really, really neat.

So I thought I'd put together a Standard legal Elves deck for when Zendikar rotates out... and then I realized how many excellent elves are leaving the format. I really missed the boat here. So, barring any cool new elves in Innistrad, I will now focus my attention on being excited about Werewolves.

There are no Elves in innistrad.

Elves don't exist in the plane.

While that certainly seems like a plausible answer, it's not what I'm going for. It will require a little bit of out-of-the-box thinking, though I don't mean that literally.

They all have abilities that can be used on yourself as well as on opponents?

Probably wrong I know.

Wow, you guys are good at picking out patterns I hadn't noticed. But no, it's something about these specific cards, in the order presented, that just made me smile when it came together.

they all have card drawing/the ability to see the next card. Used in that order if you're lucky enough, you can draw then all/use them all in one turn

Psychic Overload doesn't have an ability like that. But that's not the point anyway.

Might as well give a pretty strong hint to avoid anyone wasting a lot of time on this puzzle: There's a reason I'm posting this here instead of an actual Magic forum.
