We bought many boosters at PAX, built a couple of rudimentary decks and then started watching Graham and James drafting on MTGO. This Friday we went to our local FNM and entered the draft (we both went zero for four with the crappy decks we drafted, but it was a good learning experience.) Now I'm pondering joining MTGO so I can practice drafting and build some virtual decks to test out in a low-stress online environment before going back to get my ass handed to me by people at the store. What do you all think? Worth it to sign up online or should I just learn by getting repeatedly beaten in live competition? Would any Runners want to play online with me?
