If you are talking about the set Conspiracy that is coming in June it is not an Unset as it has black borders.
If you look at the announcement it is multiplayer-focused draft set.

I think he means on how wacky it is. I mean, come on: a card in draft you reveal so you can two-pick in a pack? That's kind of nutty.

How many times have we all wished we could do that, though? I feel like my magic prayers have been answered.

It's a shame it's not going to be on MtGO, I'd love to see the draft-two card in the MtGO Cube... I can see how that would be a challenge to implement, though...

It also seems like it'd break cube too. "Oh, I'll just take the two excellent cards from the first pack, completely cutting this color and likely ensuring I'm going to get fed that color P2."

But yea... I REALLY hope to live the dream with that card. Mythic, foil mythic (same color or not), then 'pick 2' guy. Honestly one of my BIGGEST fears when drafting is pulling a mythic and a foil mythic in the same pack.

That is not how the card works.
You pick it like normal, later in the draft you beside picking a card from a booster put the librarian in that booster and pick another card

Ahh. For some reason, I thought the wording placed it in a spot like the land, where you take it out right away... not sure where that came from. My bad.

If you pull something crazy in P2 or P3 though you can damned sure use it there.

I wonder if someone will sit there and try to scoop up all the Cogwork Librarians that they can out of Packs 1 and/or 2 so they can just go all-in on Packs 2 and/or 3, respectively. (I am assuming that if you have, say, 3 while drafting, you can "cash them in" all at once and pick 4 cards out of a single pack, if you wanted.)

If this was going on MtGO, I would totally try to influence Graham and James to do that, because passing someone a group of nothing but Cogwork Librarians would be hilarious. :D

We'd have to see rulings, but I'm guessing you can only use one of them per pack. It's going to be interesting seeing how they effect the draft. Are they going to be higher picks, with you hoping for something better? Are they going to be low picks? Hell, they seem like a pretty good card by themselves. A 4 mana 3/3 is fine in red. A colorless 4-mana 3/3 seems pretty solid actually, especially at common and an ability that helps you potentially gets better stuff.

Not sure why you couldn't do more than one, based on the wording of the card. Not sure if "triggers" are really the word to use, but wouldn't all of your Cogwork Librarians "trigger" at the same time, and then would "stack"? Then, they'd "resolve" one at a time, allowing you to choose to draft another card on each "resolution"?

The wording it possible, but also feels like it's intended to only allow for one. The wording is phrased as (for those who don't know it yet):
As you draft a card, you may draft an additional card from that booster pack. If you do, put Cogwork Librarian into that booster pack.

So in other words, you take both cards at the same time and then put Cogwork into that pack. Again, it's possible you could do it more than once per pack (equal to the number of Librarians you have). But I get the feeling that's not the intention. And it's one of those situations where we can only know for sure once we get a ruling.

Well, it's worded "draft an additional card", as opposed to "draft two cards", which would suggest to me that it stacks...

I think that might be worded that way due to other cards though. As I said, it's possible. I just get the feeling it's not supposed to work like that more than anything.

I just can't think of any particular reason to not allow it... if you get two librarians, then in later packs you can either take 1 card, take 2 cards and put back one librarian, or take 3 cards and put back both librarians... the maths works either way, and it fits with a strict reading of the card...

We're sort of in the dark here, as there's no rules yet for anything even similar to this... But I don't see a good reason for them to write them to have this not stack, as written.

Based on the fact that pretty much all we know about the set is that its going to be slanted towards janky multiplayer limited games, I think assuming that they'll permit anything but the most game breaking janky interactions is probably the safest bet.

So my plan for Conspiracy is to buy a box, draft with it, and then use it as the basis for the most amazing cube I have ever built. I'm just torn whether I take from Commander 2013, MMA, or whatever is in standard to flesh it out....really any of the above.

I'm so excited for conspiracy I cannot even adequately express it. I love limited, I love multiplayer, I love bizarre psychological board fuckery, and with only two cards revealed this set is already hitting all my buttons.

Now, I'm just imagining a Chaos draft with one or more Conspiracy packs in it.

Went to FNM for fun with my sister and some guy went 3-1 with a $20 Super Aggro MonoRed Deck. Was pretty neat. Nothing bigger than a two drop for the most part.

He makes Madcap Skills and even Gruul War Charm look like jokes. Being able to attack without your guys taking any damage? Being able to just eat their dudes when they're forced to double-block your big guy? All that for the best P/T combo we've seen yet? All for less than Karametra?

Yes plz.

I'm now super-sad I traded/sold my Reckoners already. On the plus side, I'm going to look into good R/W cards that are about to go up in value.

I suspect I may have done the same... now I'm itching to get home and check my binder...

And I thought Boros was all-but-dead with the single-color theme of Theros, but thank you. Thank you, Journey to Nyx, for refueling my nightmares of my pure-green Stompy slaughtered by an unstoppable red-and-white armada.

P.S., still love Boros.
