So I'm looking to tune my Myr Tribal a bit more and figured I'd abuse the fact that I have all the colors and a Blinkmoth urn. So. What's your favorite X casting cost card? I was looking around and Clan Defiance, Psychic Drain, and Mind Grind all seem like possible endgame. Apocalypse Hydra also seemed very entertaining, if not just expensive... kinda.

The correct answer is clearly Flock of Rabid Sheep.

I've thought of Debt, but I am trying to shy away from doubles since my deck can garentee one source of every color,or the very least 4 colors. Rabid sheep just seems too annoying for the other player. Main phase 1, have 8 mana floating and 10 more on the board. Tap out and cast Rabid for 16, Ima go get a sandwich or something. lemme know what happens.

Are you looking for something like Jer's Group Hug, which is nasty and can actualy win?
I run a Phelddagrif Commander deck that basically can't win, it's purposed is solely to help everyone else out. Turns out it's the most fun to play of all the decks I have. I'd be happy to post the list if you like!

I won with this deck for the first time tonight, but it was a close thing. (also Academy Ruins is actually Buried Ruin; deckbuilder doesn't have buried ruin for some reason...)

Thinking of making a fun assemble Voltron-styled EDH deck and wanted some suggestions on:

1. A decent and/or fun General
2. Equipment packages besides the obvious (Swords, Darksteel Plate, etc.)
Oh-h-h-h SNAP... Concede.

Any general with hexproof (geist, thrun, uril, etc), or one like Daxos that has a cheaper casting cost with some built in evasion.

I'm not sure about having hexproof to start... but voltroning Daxos, Anax and Cymede, Animar, or Skullbriar would be hilarious. It also depends on how many colors you want.

If he's going for equipment, Anax And Cymede wouldn't work. They don't target when you cast them, and abilities don't trigger Heroic.

But if you don't mind going with auras, Bruna, Light of Alabaster seems fun. She also gets rid of the issue with auras in general. By which I mean, whenever she attacks, she gets back all the auras in the graveyard that might have fallen off her before.

My Bruna, Light of Alabaster deck is a lot of fun to play. In a multiplayer game, I'm usually left to my own devices while I build up my mana-base. Occasionally you can play diplomat and enchant one of your opponent's creatures in a bid to get rid of another one. Vow of Duty and Vow of Flight are incredible in this regard, as they can't later betray you with your own aura.
When I'm feeling comfortable, and any blue opponents are tapped out, I'll slam Bruna to the field.

You know what the best thing is? Your opponents tend to forget that her ability activates whenever she attacks or blocks. I'll often be in a position where I throw down Bruna and pass the turn, and my opponent realizes I'm suddenly a threat and swings in, allowing me to have Bruna form the head of a MASSIVE 13/13 Flying Vigiliance Totem Armor Totem Armor First Strike Totem Armor Hexproof Protection From Creatures Lifelinker, and it doesn't take long after that to win a game, usually.

I get to go play Commander at my LGS tomorrow night! :D I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a group after I came back from college.

I'm looking at fixing my mana base for Viktory Draws Myr and wrote down some possible lands.

The 6 artifact lands are in for sure, so that's 1 of every color and then the colorless. I run 7 of each and 8 island, but I can run 1 less island for the darksteel. As for the other lands:

Irrigation Ditch
Ruins of Tokair
Abandoned Outpost
Dromar's Cavern
Ancient Spring
Svyelunite Temple
Seafloor Debris
Crosis's Catacomb
Sulfur Vent
Bog Wreckage
Ebon Stronghold
Darigaaz's Caldera
Geothermal Crevice
Ravaged Highlands
Dwarven Ruins
Rith's Grove
Tinder Farm
Timberland Ruins
Havenwood Battleground
Trora's Ruins

Thoughts and suggestions?

It has come to my attention that there are only 3 possible BUG generals: Damia, Mimeoplasm and Vorosh. That makes me sad :(

I have started durdling around with an infect deck for someone, but I am sadly torn between Damia (who gives ermagerd card advantage) and mimeoplasm (who copies one of your own infectors and a fatty from someone else's bin) right now.

Mimeoplasm is a nuts commander. There's a guy who runs him at my LGS.

Unrelated, the same guy durdled through his entire deck and decked himself while we were playing 1v1. I had no board state, and was at 40 life, and he'd've had me dead if he'd just turned them copy tokens sideways a couple of times, but he was digging for Omniscience (which turned out to be the last card of his library).

Too bad I never got to play my hand full of board wipes. Planar Cleansing, Wrath Of God, Nevirnyrral's Disk, and something else were all in hand. Maybe Plague Boiler? I'm running five board wipes in there.

Considering building a Sliver Overlord deck, for the lulz. Has anyone here tried or seen someone else try to do Sliver EDH before?

Basically EVERYONE on MTGO when the Community Cup won everyone a Sliver Queen. I'd suggest looking into some Sliver Queen builds and adapting it to Sliver Overlord's abilities.

Cards that a quick search of The Gatherer turned up that I'd consider:
* Door of Destinies
* Imagecrafter (Steal your opponents creatures!)
* Mistform Mutant (Also steal your opponents creatures)
* Unnatural Selection (Steal creatures)
* Roar of the Crowd (Possible game ender)
* Standardize (Make everything a sliver until end of turn.)
* Peer Pressure (Combos with Standardize to allow you to steal EVERY creature, including Hexproof/Shroud creatures)
* Xenograft (Make all of your creatures Slivers)

ETA: Mirror Entity (and any other Changeling creatures)

If you're stealing opponents' creatures, or you have non-Sliver mana dorks for fixing and ramp, throw in a HiveStone to make every creature you own Slivers.

Speaking of fixing, various options: Nylea's Presence, Prismatic Omen, Abundant Growth, Ancient Ziggurat, Chromatic Lantern, Coalition Relic, Darksteel Ingot, Divergent Growth, Exotic Orchard, Fellwar Stone, Forbidden Orchard, Gemstone Caverns, Joiner Adept, Lotus Cobra, Multani's Harmony, Opal Palace, Orochi Leafcaller, Paradise Mantle, Rupture Spire, Scuttlemutt, Thran Quarry, Trace of Abundance, Verdant Haven... (Also many more, but those I recommend over others.)

Lurkon mentions Changeling creatures, but also throw in the Changeling instants, too. When cast, they count as Sliver spells for the Door, and if you have a Homing Sliver, they get Slivercycling, so you can search for specific Slivers. I have a bunch of non-Sliver mana dorks for fixing to get various color Slivers out. Blades of Velis Vel, Shields of Velis Vel, and Wings of Velis Vel make them Slivers temporarily, as a combat trick. Nameless Inversion and Ego Erasure can help if your opponent is running tribal, too. Crib Swap is... mixed. You take out a big guy, but the new changeling will get all your non-M14 Sliver abilities. That could be bad, unless you use the Overlord to grab it.

Some more suggestions below.

Clear additions, if you can swing them:

Adaptive Automaton
Alpha Status
Artificial Evolution
Aphetto Dredging
Belbe's Portal
Brass Herald
Call to the Kindred
Cavern of Souls
Coat of Arms
Conspiracy
Coordinated Barrage
Cryptic Gateway
Defensive Maneuvers
Descendants' Path
Distant Melody
Duplicant
Faces of the Past
Harsh Mercy
Konda's Banner (on your Commander)
Mana Echoes
Anything that starts with Mistform, including Mistform Sliver
Mutavault
Pack's Disdain
Proteus Machine
Reins of the Vinesteed
Riptide Replicator (Make ALL the Slivers!)
Runed Stalactite (turn a non-Sliver into a Sliver)
Shared Animosity
Shared Triumph
Tribal Unity
Urza's Incubator (cheaper Slivers)
Volrath's Laboratory (poor man's version of Riptide Replicator)
Weight of Conscience

Some possible additions are:

Ashes of the Fallen (if you need to reanimate non-Slivers)
Caller of the Hunt
Cover of Darkness (against non-black, non-artifact decks)
Karona, False God (against non-tribal decks)
Luminescent Rain (if you need life)
Patriarch's Bidding (against non-tribal decks)
Riptide Chronologist (combat trick if you need to block)
Steely Resolve (can backfire if you need to target your own guys)

Since I'd be running 5-colour, do you figure it'd interact well with Domain spells (since I'm likely trying to get out lands of all colour anyways?)

That depends. Are you going to have a lot of dual-lands, mana-people, mana-producing enchantments?

Remember that Domain counts the number of basic land types you control. So while your shock-lands will count, your guild-gates will not. I'd suggest Sunburst cards if you're looking for something to reward you playing all five colors.
