A little something I came up with while remembering "It's Magic" and shortly after pulling both of these out of one booster.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be about the multicolored Gods from Born of the Gods / Journey Into Nyx. It wasn't until I saw the flavour text that I realized what you were referencing. I am a bad fan.

Well we could make this thread about acceptionally lucky pulls, though once you see Double Ral Zarek, most other stuff seems like a scrub.

I had a friend pull a double Ajani from an M14 booster when we went to go buy 3 packs each a random day last fall. I pulled a Archangel of Thune and a Lifebane Zombie in two of my 3.

I think we had a pretty good day luck wise there.

When I went down to the Escapist Expo, I ended up pulling a two foil Purphoros and an Elspeth out of 16 packs worth of cards (having done two drafts and done pretty well in them).

Today at pre-release, I pulled 4 gods out of 10 boosters. But out of those, 3 of them were Karametra, so it's not all that lucky.

I dunno but I think this is quite a pretty good pull (nearly $45 in R/M):



Not to mention I pulled a Spirit of the Labyrinth from one of my prize packs. So yay $50+ in cards from the one prerelease event!

My best luck was splitting a box of M14 with three other people, where I pulled 4 planeswalkers out of my 9 packs. Sadly, prerelease didn't treat me so well this time around. I opened a master of waves, but he didn't put in that much work. Deck was jank.

They weren't money cards, but I opened almost all of the key cards I wanted for my commander decks during the BotG prerelease, except Whims of the Fates. Happily that one was easy to trade for...and then I opened a shiny one out of my prize packs.

i did quite well at my pre-releases. first pool had a mogis god and brimaz kitty kat king.
2nd pool had phenax god and Ashiok PW
