Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
For those who might not watch the live streams on Thursday night.
Graham launched the page on the store last night. This is currently a preorder so you wont get your product right away it is estimated 4 weeks before they ship out.
I dont know if that takes into account the Chinese new year which halts all production in China for two weeks I would suggest you be prepared not to get your stuff for a couple months.
Graham did a stress test on the sleeves by pulling one appart, and it looked like it took quite a bit of effort. He said they are on par with, but different from, Ultra Pro, which is pretty much the middle of the road not crap not amazing sleeve. They have a Glossy finish and shuffle and fan in a hand very well.
Blog post coming soon.
There are two playmat styles, Logo, and Funny zones, there is currently only one style of sleeve, "I think im just dead here" (logo at bottom) More designs are possible if these sell well enough and they can justify expanding the line.
http://store.loadingreadyrun.com/collections/mtg-accessories
200 sleeves for $20, 1 playmat for $15 or 100 sleeves plus 1 playmat for $25
(sorry to steal the blog post thunder but im really excited about this, and not everyone reads the blog)

For the record when I asked about size and perfect-fits/pro-fits Graham held one up to show us, and there looks to be plenty of room to accommodate them

Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
I just have one question for LRR.
How are you all going to sign a playmat that is 85% or 95% black?

Very excited for this. Maybe this means I will stop forgetting my sleeves and borrowing someone else's or buying new ones all the time. (Of course it won't, but I'll try.)
Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
I will be ordering on payday for sure! (i hope they post to Australia)

Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
I might pick some up. 200 sleeves for $20 isn't a bad deal, and the playmat+sleeves is actually a solid choice (though I'm disappointed there's not enough to sleeve up a full deck and draft). I like the playmat, but I already have two. And I have enough sleeves right now (just had to buy 50 for drafting and all my decks are in alright shape). Plus, I'm cheap, so... we'll see. But I'll try to grab some at a con or something if they're available there.

I'll be getting some of that. Maybe we can organise a bulk shipment to Australia to cut down on shipping.

Provided they ship here (and I don't know why they wouldn't), I know I'll be ordering for a few people I know.

Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
I'm already organising a bulk order with some people at my LGS, and if anyone else who lives nearby (Central Coast, NSW) wants in on that, then let me know and we'll figure something out.
Personally I'll definitely be getting the zones mat, probably both mats. Not sold on the sleeves personally, mostly because I tend to win a lot at FNM and rarely play at higher-level events, and it seems bad form to crush people with those sleeves. Judging by what Graham said on-stream, these are a sort of pilot run, and they might make other designs in the future, which I'd be up for... if they make a set with just the logo on them, I'll snap buy enough to hold my Unhinged cube.
Also, "on par with Ultra Pro" is a bad sign to me, Ultra Pro sleeves are pretty terrible, in my experience. They last maybe a month and then start fraying at the edges, and the printed layer starts peeling off. I pretty much only use what Ultra-Pro sleeves I have left for holding my tokens, any real cards go in good sleeves.

Duckay, can I hop on the bulk ordering? Paying ~20 dollars postage for one mat is eh.
Oh-h-h-h SNAP... Concede.

Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
I've been playing around with the shipping costs; it looks like international shipping is forced to priority mail (ie more expensive, faster, ?insured) at orders over $100. This may become relevant for group orders.
I'm in Newcastle, BTW, if that helps anyone.

Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
I play Magic in Newcastle. If you can get in touch with me we may be able to work out something. (Same goes for ZePancakes.)
Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
I was hesitant about the zones one, then I imagined the expression of the hardcore spikes I invariably encounter at prereleases when I roll it out. They already get this wonderful dead-eyed look when they see the sleeves I use. Yeah, that's worth it.
When the upkeep takes longer than the main phase, I know I've done my job well.
Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
Since I'm apparently "difficult to buy for", I think I might tell my parents about this and get them to buy it for me for my birthday. Considering how often I lose at magic, would be quite entertaining.

Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
I agree with Philip in hoping for a Plain logo or Logo with name, to me they are too busy rather than to rub it in your face, but I totally get that idea.
I would preorder 1000 of any of these.

My only problem with the zones mat (which I'm buying regardless) is that the zones (specifically the side ones) aren't where I lay my cards out. So I'll end up either not matching the mat, or confusing myself.

I'll probably pick up 3 packs of sleeves for that cube I keep saying I'm going to build.

Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
I don't understand that. Some of the best players I've ever met use weird sleeves, custom tokens, stuff like that. I would, if I ever remembered to order some interesting ones and use them.

Re: Loading Ready Run Sleeves and Mats
One of the guys at my LGS, who most of the time is an unbearably smug hardcore spike, used the Pac-Man ghosts as his spirit tokens when he was running Innistrad Block Spirit Token Deck Du Jour #999999999999.

Ordered each of the playmats, love 'em! The sleeves are hilarious, but why no LRR Logo ones?

G mentioned they wanted sleeves that would be funny/appealing to non-LRR fans.
