Could one mitigate the majority of the problem by posting the poll, day of? Caveats being that the announcement of the poll is placed in the fan draft chat so those that are willing to participate have the link (It has been a while since I last joined, thus I am unsure if you folks use that chat still) and getting people to say (by typing in chat) they are playing in chat can then be used to cull repeat votes.

Not the best strategy, and it would still have some instances of extra votes but it could work? I don't know, just shooting from the hip here.

To be fair, I am insane, so there's that, Duckay.

Pancakes: That's exactly what Hosk was advocating and was pissed off about regarding having it way too early. He yelled at me for doing something similar with the Halloween draft. Therefore, I won't do that anymore. Dix, however, didn't get the message, apparently.

So I discovered I have 50 phantom points on my MTGO account. I'd like to try to get in on the LRR fan draft. I noticed a link in chat for a LRR fan draft. Do you all meet there before the draft or do you still meet in the Loadingreadyrun live chat?

We typically meet in LRR_Fan_Draft prior to draft.

Due to a slight miscommunication in when to join 15 people drafted cube spread over 4 queues that fired from 2 minutes before the hour to 2 minutes after.

its important to wait for the signal if everyone wants to join together.

I recommend having the mtgo draft window open full screen and chat open in a reduced window on top, that way you can read chat but still have access to the button to join.

I did silly things in the first cube

Only went 1-2, but I still enjoyed myself a lot. Hoping to run 2-1 or better in the second cube.

Cube sounds awesome, and just enough Phantom points to get in, too.

We could be doing a homelands draft and I wouldn't care. I just want to fan draft again.

Alright, I need to save some money, so that makes me ask a couple of questions.

I'd like to know how many is the maximum amount of M15 and/or Theros drafts we're going to do before they're gone. I've got 11 M15 packs, 10 Born of the Gods packs, and 9 each of Journey into Nyx and Theros.

My thought is that, depending on how many will be used, I'd sell the rest. For example, if we do 1 M15, then there's 8 packs I could sell for tickets. (Or alternatively, crack them, take a chance at some money cards, and sell the cards.)

So, how many of either are we planning to do?

Alternatively, another idea is to just have me fund a Theros draft, since I've got a whole Pod of packs available (plus 4 extra). I'd sell 1 of each to LRR fans for a combined 8 tickets, roughly the same as bot prices.

So... Want to run a Theros draft from my supplies?

Crossing the streams is the same time as fan draft this week. Are people still intending to draft?

Also, I vote to move future fan drafts to Sunday, if at all possible. They scedualed crossing the streams for every other saturday at 6 PST, meaning it would hit every other fan draft if we don't move the time.

I'm also wondering if we should move Fan Drafting, though I don't know if I could join on Sundays. I personally prefer earlier on Saturdays.

Also, next week is pre-release, right? Should we Fan-Pre-release?

MTGO Pre-release is the weekend of the 30th, not next weekend.

I'm hoping so, but I'm waiting until tomorrow at the very earliest to put up a poll, and probably later.

Prerelease is one of the very few times I actually play, so I definitely want to.

If we're trying to avoid running into Crossing the Streams, Sunday works better for me than early Saturday (I could start around 4 PST Saturday, but that's not early enough and would still hit the stream).

Should we run a poll to see what timing would work best for people? And if it's split, we could just do it twice - even if there don't end up being enough people to fill a pod on both days, it'd still be nice to play with fans.

Also, uh, hi! I don't pop in here very often. :P
