Drafting in the Detroit Metropolitain area?
Drafting in the Detroit Metropolitain area?
Preferably not Detroit itself, but I live in Redford and I wanna draft Conspiracy so does anyone have a specific group in the area I could join?

Your best bet will be Pandemonium they have a fairly strong player base or at least they did and its right down the road from you.
You have to pay attention its on the east side of middlebelt and the building is really nondescript.

I was more looking to play with LRR people who are in the area than just any group in the area.

...not that anyone seems to be interested...
My point was I know an LRR group will be a good group, and the first paper magic I've played since cards tapped at an angle was at LRRcon, so a more comfortable environment for getting into paper magic would be helpful.

Oh I get it, I really enjoy drafting with Lrr fans, its relaxed its fun and people are generally helpful its kinda like a Good prerelease were people are like "Oh thats a sorcery, you wanna take back your attack or cast it precombat?"
We do a fan draft weekly on MTGO but if you are just getting into Magic you might not want to split your money.
This week is at 1PM EST on saturday.

Yea, like Hosk said, it's understandable. LRR fans in general seem to be really cool people (except for me; I'm an ass). The issue is that LRR forum members are from all over the world. And even when we're just talking about the ones from MI (which I am as well), that's a pretty big place. I live about 45 minutes south of Jackson myself. Which is quite a ways away from Redford sadly.

That it is.
Also, I'm just getting into PAPER magic. I've been playing MTGO since Theros came out. I plan on participating in the next fan draft.
