Man, that was a good one - never thought I'd get to pull out the Wingmate Roc/Brutal Hordechief combo, but man was it delicious while it lasted. Game 3 mana flood always sucks, but thems the breaks. GGS friendo!

GGS, Omega! Glad to witness that beautiful combo, even if I had to be on the receiving end.

Funnily enough, I had more fun with this match than several of the others I've lost in this league (despite making a bunch of mistakes on stream...). I guess it's because I didn't feel like I was losing due to a terrible deck/pool (I really don't like my pool). I think this version of my deck isn't terrible, and I know I made some dumb mistakes and I can do better. So...yay, I guess?

It was a fun game and don't worry about the mistakes. You should see my punt counter on my own stream. :D If you want to test various versions of your pool, just let me know and I'm more than game :D

Any word on the next round? I know we had a week hiatus, which would mean this would be Week 8 of the League. Is the plan to make next week the last match of the season? I ask because I'm looking forward to opening Dromoka and putting her straight into my deck. :)

Final Round

Sorry this got delayed a week, I schedule myself pretty tight and I had the final round running last week because I forgot to adjust the schedule for the week off. Next week is a week off for planning and pack adding.

If anyone would like to join the league or drop out please let me know. I have also constructed a more streamlined way to get pairings done based on my experience with this season.

Unless I hear another suggestion or opposition I say everyone crack two Dragons of Tarkir packs screenshot those opens and add them to your pool.

The next season will start May 10th.

Some people have suggested a Entry fee/prize support, please vote on this I will check the results Saturday May 2nd. I feel we would need more than 20 votes to add one before I would want to do so.

Does anyone mind if I open a pack or two of KTK? I feel like my deck could do with some more fixing.

Wooglie, I have no problem with that personally. My opinion was that people could just add two of any pack in standard, but we could say two of any Kahns block?

I would really appreciate any other opinions.

As a potential drop-in for next season, do I just crack 3x KTK 3x FRF and 2x DTK? Posting all the contents in the thread?

personally I like the idea of everyone opening from the same set so the pools stay balanced. With that said I'll support whatever the consensus is. Might I suggest we run a straw pull (option that I see are: all of standard, all of Tarkir block and just dragons) over this week then post results next Sunday?

I'm cool with whatever packs I'm told to crack. If Standard or Tarkir block, I might personally crack at least one KTK pack.
