zarbit 2-1 abanytar
That third game was excellent. A traditional control-turning-the-corner game, but exciting draw steps the whole time. 10/10, would play again.

I wholeheartedly agree. I was always just one untap away from crashing in with an army of Allies, but then the fires of heaven swept across the battlefield, leaving me holding nothing but ashes.
The problem is that now I'm spoiled for the rest of the season. I don't think anything will come close to this match. Thanks for the great games!

Classic Eldrazi v Allies matchup... sorta. I guess the Eldrazi were waking the land to beat up the Allies, so that doesn't work quite so well. Perhaps the Eldrazi secretly have some roilmages?

Judge! Flavour cheating! : p
Seriously though, that was some great fun. Hitting me with that discard in game 2 was a real turning point - maybe next time I'll go with the conservative option instead of holding greed and praying for land draws (HA! Nope!). Still, nicely done.

The last game was super close. But luckily 1 is not 0.

scores at end of round 6:
(2-4-0) abanytar
(1-4-1) AdmiralMemo
(2-2-1) DeathNDecay
(6-0-0) DomesticSleepers
(0-4-2) Droopykoopy
(1-2-3) Duckay
(4-2-0) Omega Lairon
(3-2-1) Randus2003

round 7 of 8 pairings:
DomesticSleepers vs SaloAbraxas
abanytar vs DeathNDecay
Omega Lairon vs Duckay
Droopykoopy vs Randus2003
AdmiralMemo vs Zarbit
and 2 small notes:
1 - I realize about 1/2 the pairings are skewed in record but that's was bound to happen given all the draws, a x-0 player and the number of participants.
2 - given the start of the holiday session, this will be the final round of the year with round 8 taking place after new years.

Each game basically came down to who drew the right mana (color or number). Shame. Thanks for the games though.

Indeed. Frustrating that it couldn't be much of a real fisticuffs.

IT FINALLY HAPPENED! Seriously, the fact that my record was somehow still perfect this far into the league felt a bit blasphemous. Here, though, Breaker of Armies well and truly broke my armies, and I died a bit. Shame about the mana in game 2, but... eh, magic.

Droopykoopy 0/2 Randus2003
game 1 he got off to a quick start and had me on the ropes but then ol' Ulamag came out and ate his last 20 cards.
game 2 was less pretty, he started on a mull to 5 but came out early with some heavy hitter. After I quelled his aggression with double dampening pulse I slowly took over the game with a string of mythics (which he managed to deal with 2 of)and evasive creatures to win the match.

abanytar (venerable_bede) 1/2 DeathNDecay (allenzo)
Game 1 DeathNDecay proved that "1 is not 0" and clawed back to 3 and was looking to stabilize with a huge board...only to get trampled to death by my Oran-Rief Invoker.
Games 2 and 3, however, I just couldn't do anything about his flyers, especially that ever-vigilant ghost.
Thanks for the games!

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
I am new to the forum but very interested in sealed leagues. Are you going to just roll over decks from BFZ with a few Oath decks or start a new pool? Either way will it be possible for new people to join?

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
Roll over and add, to answer the first question. For the second, new people can join in pairs, to eliminate byes. If you're starting at Oath, 6 packs of BFZ + whatever we decide for Oath is what's needed.

Hacofo, I hadn't found anyone yet so I guess we can be the new pair to join once the organizers see this.

quick clarification to what Memo said (highlighted in blue): I put this restriction in place only for people that wish to join mid-season (like say week 3 or 4 of the BFZ season that is finishing up now). So with the OGW release being the start of a new season all are welcome paired or otherwise until week 1 pairings are posted then it's back to pairs only.
With that said I'll add you both to the list for next season so assuming you submit your pools and mtgo names by the yet to be determined deadline welcome to the league. (and that goes for anyone else that wants to join).

Thanks for the clarification, I will keep an eye out for when the OGW season/deadlines will be.
Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
Thanks for the Info.
Ok, so the Username is the same as it is here: hacofo.
Pool comes as soon as OGW is available.
Just to be sure that I've found the latest set of Rules, the way too get your base Pool is to join a normal Sealed event for BFZ (Screenshot it) and after OGW comes out crack 2 or more(depending on what will be decided Packs) and screenshot the new Product Page?

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
Yeah, or just open 6 packs of BFZ without entering an event. But entering the event is more fun.
