Would Anyone Be against putting in 4 packs of oath of the gatewatch? I havent been doing to well in the sealed league and could really use a few more new cards to unlock more options.

"against" no probably not but remember if we add to many packs there's always the rich get richer effect (this was really noticeable last year in the Tarkir league by the time we got through dragons pools were at the point of ether broken focused decks or big piles of *bleep* with no 2 or 3 drops.
Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
6-4 Sounds like a good mix, but since I've no previous experience with sealed I'm not sure how valid my opinion on this is.

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
I think 6-3 is a more typical mix because it's same ratio as 4-2 which I believe is the "official" way to do sealed? I don't have a problem either way, though. Just whatever the consensus is is fine with me!

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
Omega Lairon 1-2 SaloAbraxas
Those were some of the closest games I've played all season. I nearly gave up in game 3 after keeping a two land hand and missing my third land drop but then drew nearly perfectly to squeak out a win with less than 30 seconds on the clock.
I'm going to stay neutral on the number of packs to add, but I'm in no matter what the decision. Shame there's no way to add packs through an event.

I prefer 3, personally.

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
abanytar 2-1 Randus2003
GGS
game 1 I got off to an early start but drawing 6 land in a row did me no favors (ending in me getting run over).
there were mana issues on both sides game 2 but I managed to draw the game out long enough for Ulamog to come out and play.
then there was game 3, he mulled to 6 and proceeded to beat me down with a solid ally curve out. ending at 49-0

That was phenomenal - some of the best fun I've ever had losing a game. I mean let's be honest, we all want to be the Globetrotters, but *someone* has to be the Generals. I'm just glad I got to be part of one of the most amazing comebacks of the year.
As for the OGW question, my wallet says "2", but my heart says "4". Brain... currently unavailable for comment... but I feel like I'm in a pretty good place with this deck's power and don't need to add that much to it. That's just personally though. I guess 3 would be the most fair "middle ground" option? We only really do 6/2 split because of tradition, (it was more economical in Khans block's 3 sets), so there's not really any super strong reason to stick to it.

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
scores at end of round 8 (final scores):
(3-5-0) abanytar
(1-6-1) AdmiralMemo
(3-3-2) DeathNDecay
(6-1-1) DomesticSleepers
(0-5-3) Droopykoopy
(3-2-3) Duckay
(4-4-0) Omega Lairon
(4-2-1) Randus2003
(5-3-0) SaloAbraxas
(5-2-1) Zarbit
Congratz to DomesticSleepers for winning bragging rights of BFZ Champ and on the 6-0 streak.
As to the number of packs to add it looks like we are trending between 3 & 4 ATM but there is still plenty of time for people to weigh in and/or try to sway others to there side. I'll take all input in to account from those currently in and those thinking about joining.
In 2 Weeks I'll post the final quantity of pack and the pool submission deadline.

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
For number of packs to add, I tend to think 3, since that should give enough wastes if required. I depends if you want to stick with the official limited rules about wastes for this league, since in draft/sealed events you can only get them by drafting them or opening them.
Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
I also vote for 3 packs of Goatwatch. Hopefully they'll help pull me up toward the middle of the standings.
Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
I like adding 3 packs.

Ok, expressing my interest in joining starting with this next season, as well. My MtGO user name is the same as here: KeiranLC

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
OK so it looks like 3 packs take it, that means to join you will need to post 6 packs of BFZ (those that were in the BFZ league can either post a new pool or roll over existing pool) and 3 packs of OGW by noon MoonBase time on 2-7-16 (2 weeks from today). That gives us 1 week after the MTGO pre-releases to share our pools. My plan is to post round 1 pairings at that time.
Reminder: when posting packs please post a screenshot of the new content window (if possible). This is to help me track who opened what if there is ever a complaint of ppl spiking there decks with cards not in there pool (not likely with the LRR Fans but better safe than sorry).

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
Over the holidays, I completely forgot we were doing the sealed league, and it has just occurred to me that I missed the last round. Sorry to my erstwhile opponent about the missed games!
DomesticSleepers or Sjlangenegger on most anyplace I go.

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
apparently my bad luck last season has turned around! For my 3 packs I got 3 on color rares and a decent amount of support in my colors. Here is my new pool, enjoy! P.S. I will be rolling over my old pool and adding these cards.

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
Ok, I'm close to just cracking 6 Packs.
The sealed queues I had time to join never fired.
And the one in 5 Mins looks bad as well..

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
so I went 3-1 in a friendly per-release sealed that had ob daddy and nissa in my deck....here are the 3 prize packs I won...perfect for the league:
now if I was only Red and not Blue-Green ranp...Guess I'll need to build from scratch instead of upgrading current deck.

Re: Loading Ready Sealed League
The uhh... pre-release coulda gone better, and I ended up with a pretty sweet R/W/C deck which I'm a little sad won't be eligible for inclusion in the sealed league.
My official packs, however, were decent enough:
