Puls3evo 2 / 1 Mooriarty

Real nail biter this match, came right down to the last few turns. Very good games, swinging back and forth, denying creatures, burning dashers, and large chunks of damage rent from both sides.

So... For those that were unaware, Hosk is in the hospital for an undetermined length of time. I'm guessing we just put the league on hold until he gets back, at least regarding official games? If it goes for a significant amount of time, perhaps we either start up again from the beginning, or someone else can figure out the system and pick up for Hosk? What's everyone think?

Unofficial matches can still easily go on. :)

Ok, I think a hiatus till hosk is back in action works best for me as I'm away for a few weeks. If he's going to be away for longer we can always assign a deputy to take it on in the meantime. I don't particularly want the league to stop as I and I'm sure a number of others are enjoying the chance to have good, controlled, semi competitive but mostly casual games.

Also wishing hosk all the best in getting better and hoping he's back on his feet and ready to get trounced at virtual rotating cardboard soon.

I don't mind waiting for hosk. I'd also be up for helping out with admin if Hosk has a lot on his plate once he is back.

I'd definitely be up for having been seconded on some of the league systems that Hosk would use (also kind of highlights a need for us to have some backups to this just in case one or more of us are unable to generate results for any given week). My vote is for suspending play for right now until we can either get what Hosk was using to generate the lists or he's back and ready to roll (whichever is first... don't want to rush a damn thing).

All that said, can't wait to have ya back with us Hosk.

I also agree on suspending the league for now, and also volunteer to be one of the backup Admins, if you all don't mind.

*Edit* If anyone wants the current standings, I believe I have compiled them correctly.

ah. I'd be ok with waiting until Hosks seems well enough again to either continue or to give the reins to someone else.

I just really enjoyed the league so far and don't want it to get abandoned =)

I'm happy to see you posting, Lord Hosk. I hope things go well this week too.

A little bit of book-keeping notice, I don't see a result from the DomesticSleeper Vs. Zarbit Match in week 5. This might be because of the hiatus, but just so you are aware. I do not know what the result was, or if there was a match.

I heard nothing from either of them so I marked it a draw.

There wasn't a match between us, because we couldn't ever meet. I actually haven't heard from Zarbit at all during the time we were matched.

I got a little board on the 6 hour ride from my parents house to my apartment yesterday. So I made a score matrix (just wins and losses no %s) for the sealed league in excel (not shareable). Now that I have a few min between rounds of a release event I transferred it over to google docs (link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1k5VngrlBPhYjRoXmO8yGBMPDIsz0tniYj1AAQxmI_28/edit#gid=0).

Lord Hosk - I wasn't sure if you were doing something similar for tracking or not, and if you want me to take it down just say the word and I will (this is your Hoskling after all).

If people like this I will try to update every week after new pairings are posted.

edit - just realize (meaning I got requests for access in my e-mail) I forgot to make this viewable...so here is the public link (if you would like to be able to edit pls send me a private message):

Steelfraud (battlesong333) 1 / 2 Archieo (Shalok)

Was a tough battle of the citadel sieges, but I had to use mine to tap creatures cause it was too late :(. Was still a ton of fun!

I don't have a problem with there being additional tracking I have a extensive excel document with links and %.

The method that I use for pairing is to take everyone who has the same match record and then pair them as best I can based on their win% as well as their opponents averaged win% then try to remove repeats(I have failed in that part several times)

Omega Lairon 0 - 2 Cabalasp

Those were some fine games... would've appreciated a little more than 3 mana for game 1, but thems the breaks. Nice reversal in the second too. Good luck with the last rounds!

Zarbit 2 / 0 Maddrius

Such an epic first round mono-removal mirror match! (scooped turn 6 on game two, dun-dun).

Thanks again for the games Zarbit!
